Story
This distinguished gentleman is Garfunkel! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 4/10 along with his bestie, Simon. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim them. Upon arrival they were very anxious and unsure of their surroundings, but they're starting to adjust. It is evident that they find comfort and support in each other's presence. The volunteers describe both boys as friendly and easy to handle on leash. They both love treats and will sit nicely to accept them! Garfunkel is approximately 8 years old, and weighs 43 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Garfunkel in kennel 874; his ID # is 18132. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Story
Stevie, affectionately known as Honey, is the kind of dog who makes everyone fall in love within minutes.   This handsome boy is approximately 3 years old and weighs only about 40 pounds — the perfect medium size for just about any home. He has the most beautiful golden-colored coat, soulful eyes, and a sweet personality to match.   For the first three years of his life, Stevie was sadly tied outside in a backyard by irresponsible owners who eventually moved away and abandoned him. Despite everything he’s been through, he has remained incredibly loving, trusting, and happy.   Once Blake’s Buddies rescued him and brought him into foster care, Stevie immediately showed everyone what a wonderful dog he truly is. He absolutely loves people, does great with kids, and is very dog-friendly. He’s affectionate, easygoing, and simply wants to be near his humans.   Stevie is healthy, neutered, heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations, and on monthly prevention. He’s thriving in foster care and ready for a forever family that will finally give him the love and stability he has always deserved.   The only thing to note is that Stevie thinks cats are a little too exciting, so we recommend a home without cats.   If you’re looking for a beautiful, friendly, medium-sized companion with an amazing temperament and an even more amazing comeback story, Stevie may be your perfect match. ##2705446##

Story
Hi, I’m Jesse! I’m a super sweet pup who loves being close to my people and making new friends wherever I go. I get along great with other dogs, cats, and even small children, which makes me a great fit for just about any household.I love squeaky toys, hard bones, and plenty of attention. I’m still working on my potty training and can be a little jumpy sometimes because I get so excited, but I’m making great progress and already sleep through the night without accidents.More than anything, I’m looking for a loving family who will continue helping me learn and grow while giving me lots of cuddles, playtime, and companionship. I can`t wait to meet you!Love,Jesse
