Story
Hi, I’m Boo Berry! I’ve got a lot of personality, and yes, I’m a bit of a barker—I just like to let you know when I’m excited or when something’s happening around me! I’m housebroken and know how to keep things clean indoors, and when it’s time to play, I’m all about a good game of fetch. I’m super treat-motivated, so training me is a breeze—I’ll do anything for a tasty reward! If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion who loves to play and has a big voice to match, I think we’ll get along great!

Story
One of our amazing volunteer`s 10-year old son had some great things to say about Tido. We couldn`t say it any better.“When I saw Tido for the first time all I saw was a sad dog. Little did I know that he was soon to be the friendliest dog I had ever met. He was just sitting in the corner of his kennel sobbing, ribs showing, and little tufts of fur poking out in random spots. He seems to be another dog with a sad story. What I thought of when I looked at him was a dog being treated like garbage by their owner. As soon as we got him out of his kennel, he instantly seemed more cheerful. Immediately after getting outside he peed for longer than I have ever seen a dog pee. I think he might have broken a world record. He also pooped twice. It was like he hadn’t been outside in about a week. As we got to the field, I gave him a treat and then he seemed to trust me. I think that is how he got in this situation in the first place, he trusted the wrong person. We had started walking him around the field when he walked in front of me, as if he were protecting me. After that he just seemed overall friendly. When we returned him to his kennel, he started sobbing again, and so did my mom. He seems to be the sweetest dog I have ever met in my 10 years of living (Yes, I’m a kid), so he is kid friendly and very gentle. Please foster or adopt this sweet boy. All he wants is some love.”

Story
Meet Moss, an adult dog with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with energy. He's a goofball who loves to play, and his bravery is matched only by his sweet nature. Moss is friendly to all, but he is also fiercely independent, so he's dog selective. Moss would be happiest in a home without young children, where he can be his playful, energetic self. He's the kind of dog who will keep you on your toes, make you laugh, and offer unconditional love. Moss deserves a loving forever home where he can continue to be his goofy, brave, and sweet self. Adopt Moss, and let his playful energy bring joy into your life. Moss weighs 51lbs., is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 03/25/2021), and his adoption fee is $305. Moss has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Moss, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Shadow may wear a few marks of her past, but her heart is a masterpiece of unconditional love. This resilient and sweet soul has walked a challenging road, yet her spirit remains unbroken, and her capacity to give love is boundless.Shadow dreams of finding a home where she’ll finally be cherished and adored as she’s always deserved. She’s ready to leave her tough past behind and step into a future filled with kindness, comfort, and the love of a family who sees her for the incredible dog she is.Unfortunately, Shadow came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for her with no additional cost to you! While Shadow is undergoing heartworm treatment she will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give them a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high, and the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Shadow to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter. If you are interested in learning more about Shadow and how the FTA process works, please stop by or call us at 678-965-7185!
