www.goldenrescuesouthflorida.com Wow! Thanks to GRSF, I have learned so much about being a super Golden Retriever. I always had all the super traits of a Golden. I love people. My only issue was I got excited when I'd see other dogs out walking on a leash.  And I wasn't the best "sharer".  But all that is in my past. I went to school and it was so cool to learn.  Here's what my previous owner told GRSF about me. "He is very loving and obedient. He lives to please and is a great listener and cuddler. He loves sleeping with me in bed. He's kind and loves to play. ". Quite a recommendation, right? He lives in an apartment now. Not the best environment for me. He's hoping GRSF will find a family with a fenced yard. I really love all the attention and would be best as the only dog.   I haven't been around kids...but I'm thinking I'd be most comfortable with " bigger kids". You can tell from my pictures. I'm your classic, handsome, awesome Golden guy. I'm  a six year old, neutered and I've " graduated with honors" and I'm ready to GO HOME. Kelsey is such a chill dog, who easily gets along with everyone. She has been introduced to men, women, toddlers, teens, big dogs, little dogs and loves them all. We are unsure about cats, but we haven't found much that fazes her. Things like fireworks and storms have zero effect on her. She does like to chase (more like a strut) birds, ducks and squirrels although she always turns back to see if we are watching. Kelsey enjoys walking laps while following us at the dog park, she has even gotten other dogs to join us. Outside she will happily walk around the yard, do her business and sunbathe while we enjoy our morning coffee. Kelsey loves to go for long walks when you have time to do so. If you work from home, she's the perfect guest to quietly lounge or sleep while keeping you company. Kelsey has a quirky habit of chewing her back paws, hip or front leg when she is nervous. We have seen her do it a lot less since she's been settled. Her perfect day is sunbathing outside before breakfast, long walk after breakfast, several naps and head rubs throughout the day, quick trip out before dinner, long walk after dinner, more head scratches and her bed for the night. Kelsey is 30lbs and 9.5 years young. Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Penelope Cay is five months old and was rescued from BVI. She can't wait to find her forever home and meet her new family! She is a very sweet girl,loves to play with her toys and foster sisters.She loves to cuddle on the couch and watch a good movie (or sleep through it ) Penelope is not a barker! She sleeps through the night in her crate. Penelope is good with other dogs and kids. She is crate trained and is doing really good walking on a leash. Penelope is working hard on potty training! Please meet Chanel. She is a 9 year old Golden Retriever mixed rescue dog. I adopted her when she was 2 years old in Atlanta, GA. She is a very good house dog and has been to many boarding facilities when I am away for the holidays with NO PROBLEMS, yet she has some aggressive tendencies towards other animals when out on walks with me. She is very afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. Other than that, she has been the perfect dog! She is great around my niece and special needs daughter who are both only 2 years old. I’m only giving her up because I haven’t been able to give her the love and attention she deserves since I had my special needs child. Thank you for reading this and I hope that you can share the love with Chanel that I have for all these years!

Bella is a GREAT dog for children(Grandchildren)as well as people of all ages. She needs to be around people as that is what makes her happy. While she has energy, at 11/12 she has slowed down. What she has lost in energy she has gained in affection and personality. Bella' mother was full breed show dog and her farther was full breed used for stud services. We bought her from a professional breeder in North Carolina. We have all of the documentation on Bella and her 100% pedigree. She will be a great addition to any home and we will not let her go unless we can physically the environment and people who will care for her. Bella is a middle weight and around 70 lbs. wet. PERFECT size. We are considering allowing her to be adopted as we are active and do not give her the time she really needs especially as she gets older. GREAT companion dog.
