Story
Meet Scar. Originally was found wandering the streets of Philadelphia earlier this year. Decided to take him in. He’s fun, loving, energetic, friendly and great with children. An ideal adpoter would be someone who has time, care and patience to work with scar. He’s already potty trained so we’re just looking for a suitable home.

ABOUT ZELDA Meet our sweet girl, Zelda! She is a 5-year-old mixed breed with the biggest heart! Zelda came to HAP when her owners could no longer care for her. Despite being in the shelter after living in a home, she has remained a lover girl. Zelda enjoys meeting new people and is very friendly. When she's not snuggled up with someone, you can usually find her curled up on her bed enjoying a long nap. Zelda also enjoys going for long walks and playing with stuffs. Zelda already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is very eager to please. She has done well meeting other dogs, though she prefers calm, gentle doggy friends best! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Hello, my name is: GingerDOB: 09/04/2018Sex/Breed: Spayed female Golden Retriever/Standard PoodleWeight: 61.3 lbsFriends: Adults, older kids, dog, catsTraits: Sweet, gentle, reserved, curiousRescued From: Breeding kennelAfter spending her life having puppies for profit, Ginger was retired from her breeding duties. We were able to provide her a soft place to land and a chance to live the life she deserves as a cherished pet. This new world is a little overwhelming for sweet Ginger, but she is doing her best to be brave. She has started to settle into the quiet environment in her foster home. Ginger is house trained and well-mannered. Being in a calm home without a lot of commotion will help her continue to thrive. She’s very sweet and enjoys being with her people once she trusts you. Ginger`s ideal family will have experience with dogs and be home often, as she is not a fan of being by herself. We can’t wait to watch this beautiful girl reach her full potential! Story
Thanks for considering adopting Enzo. He is the sweetest dog and the only reason I am looking to rehome Enzo is because we live alone and with my busy work and travel schedule, I am unable to give him the time and love he deserves. I feel really bad to leave him alone at home for extended periods, he never complains about this and he gets really excited to see me when I return. This is a huge decision for me but after careful consideration I think it is the right one to make for keeping Enzo happy. He is very easy to work with, he is super friendly, he loves people and other animals, and gets along really well with everyone. He is a really calm dog, he matches your energy and is always up for walks and playtime. Hope we can find Enzo a loving home! Thanks!
