Story
Meet Martini – The Sweetest Companion You’ll Ever Find! Martini is an adorable, mellow pup with a heart full of love and curiosity. While she may share her name with a sophisticated cocktail, Martini is more like a comforting craft beer on a warm summer day—laid-back with little bursts of playful energy. She’s ready to find a forever home that offers plenty of cuddles and affection! Her Highlights New People: A little shy at first but warms up quickly with love and patience. Children: Does great with kids! Food Removal: No food aggression—good manners. Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with other dogs and respects their space. Cats & Other Pets: Unknown with cats, but has done well with other pets. Personality: Friendly, mellow, and a cuddle enthusiast. She’s curious and loves exploring but happiest snuggled up with her human. Energy Level: Medium – she enjoys bursts of playtime but is equally content relaxing by your side. Potty Training: Making good progress! Signals when she needs to go out but still has the occasional accident. Leash Manners: Still learning but improving daily. A Little More About Martini Martini is a curious and affectionate pup who loves to spend time with her people. She’s playful and excited to explore, whether that means a long walk, a hike, or running around to let out some energy. At the end of the day, her favorite spot is cuddling right next to you, soaking up all the love and attention. Martini responds well to treats and understands “no,” proving she’s a quick learner. She’s comfortable meeting other dogs and is respectful of their space but also eager to find her “dog tribe” to play with. Potty training is coming along nicely, and she’s learning to signal when she needs to go outside. While Martini is generally quiet, she may bark when left alone, especially in her crate. She’s working on crate training and some puppy habits, like jumping on people, but these are minor quirks that can be easily addressed with a little patience and love. If there’s one word to describe Martini, it’s “sweetness.” Her foster mom says she’s the ultimate dream dog—and she’s fostered plenty of pups to know! If you’re looking for a loving, mellow companion with a sprinkle of playful energy, Martini is ready to be your best friend. ##2277303##

Story
Meet Grande – The Perfect Blend of Cuddles and Playfulness! Hi there! I’m Grande, a sweet and snuggly puppy who’s ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a touch of charm, I might just be your perfect match! My Highlights New People: I love meeting new friends—people are the best! Children: Unknown but I’m friendly and adaptable. Food Removal: I have great manners—no food aggression here. Dogs: I get along well with my foster brother and enjoy playtime, but I’m still learning about sharing and picking up on play signals. Cats & Other Pets: Unknown, but I’m curious and open to new experiences. Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and incredibly affectionate—I’m a major cuddle bug! Energy Level: High—I love playtime and adventures but also enjoy winding down with snuggles. Potty Training: I’m doing great! I need to go out often since I’m still little, but I haven’t had any accidents in my foster home. Leash Manners: Excellent—I walk politely and love exploring with my humans. A Little More About Me The #1 thing you should know about me is that I love cuddles. I’m sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal to my people. I’m confident yet cautious—I’ll settle into your home quickly, but big noises or new places might make me hesitate at first. Don’t worry; I’ll warm up fast with a little encouragement. Some of my favorite activities include sitting in your lap, eating snow, stealing my foster brother’s bone, following you around the house, and, of course, borrowing your slippers for a quick game of keep-away. I’ve got great manners! I’m potty trained, have excellent leash skills, and am starting to get comfortable in my crate. I’m still a young, busy boy, but I’m eager to please and love learning new things—especially when treats are involved. I’m already working on basic commands and routines, and I’m a quick study! I get along wonderfully with my foster brother. We love playing in the backyard, going on walks, and snuggling on the couch. I’m still figuring out how to share and read play signals, but he’s patient with my puppy antics, and I absolutely adore him. When it comes to my humans, I’m a true lovebug. Whether we’re cuddling on the couch, taking a walk, or working from home together, I just want to be close to you. I’ll happily hang out while you work (as long as I have something good to chew on) and stay nearby for snuggles and companionship. Why Choose Me? If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and delightful companion who’s already got the basics down and is ready to learn more, I’m your pup! I’ll bring love, joy, and plenty of cuddles to your life, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family. Will you be the one to give me the loving home I’ve been dreaming of? ##2284328##

Story
If you're searching for a devoted and loving best friend, Finn is the guy you want to have around! Finn, at just about 3+ years old and 64 lbs is just naturally a lover. When he looks at you with those dark expressive eyes and sweet smile, your heart just can't help but melt. Finn is a gorgeous Golden Retriever with a touch of Lab in the mix for extra silliness. This breed identification was made by Texas vets. The only thing we're certain of is that this guy is irresistible! He has all the traits that make these super- smart and personality-plus dogs very popular breed mixes for families and individuals searching for loving and loyal best friends. Finn has the potential for a stunning coat. It has been compromised by the harsh conditions of the shelter. It's with excellent nutrition, grooming and pure love that Finn's coat will return to the beauty that's consistent with his breeds. Finn will be initially shy or frightened when he arrives on transport in Colorado. With time, kindness and yummy treats, he will come out of his shell. We know that this sweet boy enjoys his time with his foster dad and mom tremendously. His favorite times of day are the times spent together. With a bit of time, attention and nurturing, Finn became a snuggler, and ultimately a best friend. His foster is very clear that this gorgeous guy is over the top sweet, a bit shy initially and once comfortable, loves his family with every bit of his huge heart. New Mexico rescuers had the following to brag about sweet Finn: Meet the irresistible Finn. He's a gorgeous, very affectionate, and engaging dog who is searching for his forever home. He is an athletic and well-trained pup who knows basic obedience and is a very friendly snuggler with all people who are kind to him. This sweet Golden is so gentle and also funny, silly and playful. He's great with other dogs and loves making new four-legged friends. Finn will be absolutely stunning when he gets a sudsy bath and brushing. He's between 3 and 4 years old and as loving as can be. He really stands out at the shelter due to not only his beauty but his sweetness and excellent behavior. He is a super-smart and well-behaved dog who would be perfect for an individual or family searching for an irresistible family member. Finn is loyal, loving, and wonderful. I can picture him hiking the trails of Colorado and then at end of day falling asleep on the couch surrounded by his family! Finn is a young, healthy dog who has never had a loving and responsible home. A dog-crazy family with another gentle dog to play with would be great fun for Finn. He will have so much fun exploring and hiking beside his people. He's always open to new and fun activities with a never-ending positive attitude. Just say the word and up Finn will jump for a car ride, a fun hike or just a sociable walk around the neighborhood. Finn (once comfortable in his new environment) is a loving, silly and fun pup! We would love to see him in a home with a family (older kids preferred so there's no tail-pulling or awkward handling) or active retirees who have the time and love for a very loyal and loving dog. We'd hate to see Finn left alone all day while his family works full-time outside of the home. We think he's too sensitive for that. A family that works from a home-based office is a great choice for our sweet Finn. We've requested that Finn be neutered prior to his transport to Colorado. If that doesn't occur, Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Finn's neuter and microchip following his arrival in Boulder if one of our rescue vets is used. Farfel's Rescue would like to see Finn in a home where he'll get consistent mental stimulation, exercise and tons of loving hugs. A positive reinforcement / force free training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for a young dog whose self-esteem will fly high while he masters his skills. Farfel's feels so strongly about a training opportunity for all dogs that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't choose to give Finn this opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person positive reinforcement / force free trainers in your area. Farfel's is currently searching for a loving, nurturing and committed family for our wonderful Finn. Applications are being accepted and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** Farfel's Rescue makes great efforts to place our dogs with families that are excellent matches. We do this through our Farfel's Rescue application found at the link above or at farfels.com (never through rescue site apps such as Adoptapet or Petfinder as they don't provide enough information). If you're truly interested in adopting Finn please be sure to fill out the Farfel's Rescue adoption application. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving guy. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit a Farfel's Rescue application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Petunia, Golden Retriever/Poodle/Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie. 1 1/2 yr. 42 lbs. Petunia spent the first 14 weeks in a wire kennel. Because she didn’t get out of the kennel for so long and did not have much exposure to the outside world, she will take time to work up confidence to experience new situations in a new home. Petunia is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She’s somewhat bossy with other dogs so would probable do better as on only dog. She needs a home with someone home most of the time to give her the attention she has never had. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Gypsy is a sweet golden that loves people. She's is playful and loves tossing stuffed animals around. She has bouts of puppy energy but also sleeps away the day.  Gypsy's life hasn't been all rainbows and sparkles. She was a breeding dog that has had at least one litter. She does have some things that make her anxious. Loud truck noises, fans, leaving the house from the front door. She's come a long way, but she still doesn't want to leave the house for a walk or car ride. She loves spending time outside in the backyard with friends. Because she hasn't discovered the glory of daily walks yet, she will need a 6ft securely fenced yard. Sometimes she needs to be carried into the car so the adopter must be able to pick up a 75lbs dog. Gypsy has been sweet to every person she's met. She's been great with the kids she has met so far. She's done well with the other dogs too. She has shown some possessiveness with toys. She's best paired with a dog that has no interest in toys or is willing to listen when she's telling them the toys are hers... all hers  She's come a long way from when she first arrived in rescue, but she will need lots of love and patience as she adjusts to her new lifestyle.   Gypsy wasn't potty trained when she arrived in her foster home, but she hasn't had an accident since November. She even got to go on a weekend away to a new foster and didn't have any accidents there either.  Apply online at (www.lolasrescue.com)! You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  **Dogs in a foster home will need to have a preapproved application on file before setting up meet and greets. ** ##2199371##
