Arthur was surrendered to our rescue when his former home realized they didn’t have the time they needed for him. We took in this total teddy bear and life has been a big bundle of fluff and love since! Arthur has a non-shedding coat that is an option for homes with allergies. He will require regular brushing and grooming to ensure his coat remains fluffy and fabulous! If you’re ready for a lifetime of adventure in Camelot and beyond, bring home King Arthur!      Arthur is a fabulously fantastic fluffy dude who embodies the very best of both the Golden Retriever and Poodle breeds. He loves to play and zooms around the yard on his long legs as he fearlessly fights foes as a brave knight. Arthur loves to show off his skills, fetching a tennis ball for hours at a time. He loves his stuffed toys and hunts them down like only a Knight could! Arthur is very smart and food motivated, he’s already picked up several tricks in his foster home! Arthur loves to play, but he can also appreciate the art of a good lounge session. If you settle in on the couch, he’s hopping up and placing his paw on your arm as you give him all the pets. He is also the perfect size for whatever adventures you have on your bucket list! He’s ready to camp under the stars, splash in the surf, conquer the trails, and slurp up a pup cup! Arthur is a gentle giant who thinks he is the same size as his smaller foster siblings. So prepare for a big guy who thinks he’s a total lap dog! He’s like a weighted blanket mixed with an amazing dog. It’s a 2-for-1 deal! Arthur loves cuddling until he’s ready for all the zoomies the yard can take. If you love the doodle characteristics, you truly won’t find a better or more handsome pup than our Arthur! Arthur wakes up at 7 AM and after a big stretch, trots into the kitchen for morning pets and a treat. He goes out into the yard for potty and then comes inside for breakfast, which he eats in his crate. After his meal, he settles in for some playtime followed by a well-deserved nap. Once he wakes up, he plays with his ever-growing pile of toys and checks in on his humans who are hard at work. He gets a snack at lunchtime and then eats dinner around 7 PM. Once he eats and the weather cools down, he heads out on an evening walk around the block. He enjoys some grooming and cuddling on the couch once he comes home until he’s ready to head to bed. He dreams of adventures with Lancelot and how to be the best dog ever!  Arthur currently lives with two smaller dogs. He would love a playful companion in his forever home as he loves playing the hours away. Arthur loves meeting new people and wins them over in an instant. Arthur is still learning to walk on a leash but he’s making great progress! Arthur is house trained and crate trained. We can’t wait for Arthur to find his new collection of knights and make your house his castle!      Arthur is an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 15.November 2, 2024, 6:03 pm
