Doozy was rescued from the shelter where he was surrendered for reasons unknown. We agreed to help find him a forever home and scooped up this smiley boy as soon as we could! He’s been melting hearts and giving kisses ever since and we can’t wait to find his forever people. This boy will be on the large side when fully grown, so homes should be prepared for all that comes with that. Come and meet Dapper Doozy and start your adventure!      Doozy is a friendly, playful, energetic, and snuggly dog who adores his people and his zoomies! He loves following his hunans from room to room as they go about their day, so get ready for a big little shadow. He adores his play sessions in the yard with the resident dog and would happily race around playing tag for hours at a time if you let him. Doozy is super curious about the world around him and wants to explore all the sights and smells it has to offer. He’s super excited to start chipping away at his adventure bucket list and we can see him joining his forever people on hikes, runs, camping trips, and so much more! Doozy has no idea he isn't small, so he will try and sit himself down on your lap if you let him. He’s like a giant weighted blanket! We would love to find him a home where he has a yard, a playmate, and a family ready to help him get his zoomies out so he can flop down happily at the end of the day for cuddle time. Our favorite thing about Doozy! He’s a movie buff! He loves nature documentaries and any ad where he can see animals. What a hilarious dude he is!  Doozy starts his morning at 8 AM with a trip outside to the bathroom. Once he comes back inside, he plays a little before he’s ready for breakfast. He goes out into the yard every few hours for potty breaks and gets a long walk in the afternoon with his foster family. In the evening, Doozy has dinner at 7 PM and then goes outside a few more times for playtime and sniffs. He goes to bed at 10 PM in his crate.  Doozy lives with two large dogs currently and loves his constant play sessions with them. He would be best suited for a very active home. Doozy walks well on a leash but would benefit from additional training and socialization, as he’s still a young pup! Interested homes should be prepared to discuss how they will help Doozy get his energy out. Come and meet this dapper dude Doozy today!      Doozy is only an option for homes with prior dog experience. Kids should be over the age of 6.December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

Goldilocks was rescued from the shelter as a surprise addition to our volunteers. The shelter staff asked if we could take an extra puppy and she instantly melted our hearts! We scooped her up and promised to find her the absolute best forever home in the entire world! Goldie has that perfect Golden temperament and looks and is just fabulous! She will be a medium-large sized adult pup. Ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime? Adopt Goldilocks!    Goldilocks is the most perfect puppy in the entire world and is the most deserving of her namesake. If someone was going to barge into a strange home to test the food, it would be Goldie. She has no fear at all and is super confident for her age. She’s never met a stranger she hasn’t won over instantly. She’s a great cuddler when she’s tired but other times it’s go-go-go. Goldie loves being with her people but is also down to keep herself amused when she needs to. She tackles the stairs with ease and wanders around her foster home like it’s her own personal castle. The world according to Goldilocks is one big toy. She loves to play and has the best zoomies we’ve ever seen, and trust us we’ve seen a LOT of puppy zoomies. Goldilocks would love an active home ready to take her on a lifetime of adventures. She is incredibly smart and would be a pro at taking on physical, as well as mental, stimulation every day. No hike or beach trip or camping adventure will be complete without Goldilocks’ playful and goofy energy. We know that you’ll fill endless photo albums with all the fun bucket list items you check off with Miss Goldilocks!   Goldilocks is your typical high energy, playful puppy. She wakes up around 6:30 AM and heads straight outside to potty before making it known she’s ready to eat. She has two big bursts of playful energy - in the morning and in the evening- and spends the rest of the day alternating between chewing on her toys and crashing hard. She loves her playpen which is stocked with all the toys an adorable puppy could ever dream of. Goldilocks eats three times a day and gets plenty of snacks during the day as well. Bedtime is around 11 PM, although she's known to wander off and crash earlier if she’s had a particularly playful day.  Goldilocks loves other dogs and is obsessed with the resident cat in her foster home. She is super playful and loves humans as well. Honestly she loves anything whether alive or inanimate, our girl is just the happiest of campers! Goldilocks will require continued training and socialization in her forever home. She loves bringing gifts in from the yard for her people so prepare for a collection of flowers! Adopt Goldilocks today!     Goldilocks is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 7.December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

Story
Meet Erduo, a 3-and-a-half-year-old purebred golden retriever boy with an incredibly sweet temperament. He is well-mannered, never barks, bites, or shows any signs of aggression. Erduo is fully potty trained and currently spends most of his day in our backyard, where he takes care of his needs. As a golden retriever, he is naturally energetic and thrives on interaction, especially with dogs of his size. While he is affectionate and loves meeting new people, he tends to get overly excited around unfamiliar faces and enjoys jumping up to hug them. While most people find this endearing, it’s something to be mindful of, especially in public settings, as not everyone is comfortable with such enthusiasm (we had one unfortunate experience where someone felt frightened). Erduo would be an ideal companion for someone who can match his energy and provide him with the love and attention he deserves. We are seeking a experienced home where he will continue to thrive and be cherished.

Story
Honey is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She is on the smaller side of an average golden retriever, weighing about 35 pounds. She LOVES food and is very food motivated. She is very calm, loves to follow you around and she enjoys taking walks outside. She does well with other dogs. She was rescued from a meat truck in China, her vocal chords may have been removed sadly. She recently had a surgery to remove a lump on her front left leg and it came back as low grade sarcoma. She's not fully recovered yet, but doing well. She's ready to find her forever home! Please reach out if interested.
