I'm very sweet meeting people, but I'm a big boy and tend to jump up a bit so although I haven't been around children, I would probably do best in a home with older bigger children. I don't really react to other dogs and I can walk in tandem with another dog, but I can be a bit testy in playgroups at the kennel so as a safety precaution I wear a muzzle. I hope it's not long before I'm a cherished member of a loving family. She would do best in a quiet home where she can relax and take her time adjusting. That being said, she'd love to go on nice walks and explore the world around her. she gets along with other dogs. Clover and Nellie were spotted by us when we were at a very high kill shelter in Lancaster. They were picked up as strays and clearly were not treated well. I would guess they were kept in a backyard with no to little attention and then discarded. They are learning the ropes of the outside world and making great strides. They are super sweet and loving and are thrilled to get human attention. At about a year of age, they weigh just under 50 pounds, but could definitely gain a few pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
