Mango is a very energetic, super handsome male retriever mix who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He will follow you to the end of the earth if you make him part of your family. He is about a year and a half old, and currently not well trained at the moment, but he is very eager to please and is a good candidate to become well trained if an effort is made. He will be an excellent running, hiking, or walking buddy. Mango is a loyal, loving dog who has been waiting for his forever home very patiently. Note: Special Needs Dog due to Behavior/Shyness. This dog is bonded and must be adopted with Pepe. Are you looking for a gorgeous dog? What about a very shy dog? If you answered yes to both of these questions, Chee Yoo could be the perfect dog for you. Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. If you are interested in adopting Chee Yoo, we recommend that you come and spend time with her on several occasions so that she becomes comfortable with you. Chee Yoo is UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted.

Honey is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She is on the smaller side of an average golden retriever, weighing about 35 pounds. She LOVES food and is very food motivated. She is very calm, loves to follow you around and she enjoys taking walks outside. She does well with other dogs. She was rescued from a meat truck in China, her vocal chords may have been removed sadly. She recently had a surgery to remove a lump on her front left leg and it came back as low grade sarcoma. She's not fully recovered yet, but doing well. She's ready to find her forever home! Please reach out if interested.

Bella is appx 4yrs old (she could be younger as she still seems to have some puppiness in her), petite golden girl, currently weights about 35 to 40lbs. She loves people and does really well with kids and toddlers. Walks well on leash, does fine in car rides, and she loves to eat, including anything she can find like socks 🫠. She was raised in a pig pen eating pig food her entire life in China. She was so overweight and was so matted, auntie had to shave her and treat her skin issues as she was so neglected by the owner. She is healthy overall, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Mantou is ready to find his forever home! He's appx 1.5 yrs old, most likely a golden retriever mix with either some hound or mastiff given his square face! He weights about 55lbs. He has gone through quite a few trainings with my trainer that we both feel he's gotten so much better overall! He walks well on leash, he comes back on recall, he doesn't resource guard as much anymore with other dogs, he's learned to play with other dogs. He does still need an owner that will be strict with him and continue with the training commands with him. He is very smart and he will test the water to see how far he can push. He would do better with a home that either has no babies and/or young kids.

Appropriately named, this Golden Retreiver/Lab mix lovable girl is a true Gem! Hailing from Southern CA, Gemma will charm you with her honey-eyed gaze, beautiful golden locks and affinity for cuddling. She’s an active girl who loves to chase the ball, go for walks and swim. Gemma is very affectionate and lights up when volunteers approach her kennel. She gives kisses to anyone close enough, followed by a huge grin and request for belly rubs. Gemma has plenty of adventures left in the tank and is looking for an active family who can keep up with her zest for life and understands she may need some training to hone and perfect her manners. Gemma has loved the scent training work our team of volunteers works with her on and Gemma would also do great with a person interested in continuing this fun sport. Gemma would love all the attention without competing with any other dog but likely a distinguished older fur sibling with proper introduction could be a potential fur sibling. . She prefers a home without cats. This loyal and loving girl is ready to find her new forever family!
