Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, March 8th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700 Meet Fondue – The Sweetest Melt-in-Your-Arms Puppy!   Fondue didn’t choose his name, but it couldn’t be more fitting—because the moment you pick him up, this little guy melts into your arms like warm, gooey cheese. At just 15 weeks old and 12 pounds of pure puppy love, Fondue is a Golden Retriever-Eskimo mix with a heart as golden as his fur.   Fondue is all things wonderful about puppies—curious, playful, affectionate, and just mischievous enough to keep life interesting. He’s learning the ropes of house training (with the occasional oops!), discovering the art of leash-walking (jury’s still out on that one), and perfecting his favorite skill: making humans fall in love with him.   A Day in the Life of Fondue 8:00 AM – Wake up! If no one else is up, he’ll stay quiet, but the second he hears movement, he’s ready for action. First stop: potty break in the backyard!   8:30 AM – Breakfast time! Fondue eats his morning meal and then enjoys some playtime with his big foster brother (an 80-pound hound who he firmly believes is his equal in size). Wrestling, zoomies, and toy chewing commence!   Mid-morning – After burning off some puppy energy, it’s time for a nap or quiet play. If his humans need to leave for a bit, Fondue goes into his crate with a treat and settles down after just a few minutes.   1:00-2:00 PM – Lunchtime… or maybe not. Fondue’s not always interested in a midday meal, so he might just opt for a few bites before heading back to play mode.   Afternoon Adventures – More playtime with his foster sibling, chewing on (approved!) toys, and occasionally getting into mischief. He also enjoys staring out the window, barking at his own reflection, and investigating every corner of the house.   7:00 PM – Dinner time! After eating, he gets another potty break and then spends the evening either snuggling or playing—depending on his mood. If you’re sitting down, expect him to curl up with you.   9:30-10:00 PM – Bedtime! Fondue is crated for the night and, like a good boy, holds it until morning. No accidents in his crate so far!   Why You’ll Love Fondue He melts in your arms when you hold him—seriously, he just sinks into you. He’s goofy and sweet, barking at his own reflection and stealing hearts wherever he goes. He’s a social pup who adores people and other dogs, making him a great addition to a playful home. He’s working hard on house training and learning the rules (even if he sometimes “forgets” when a shoe looks particularly chewable).   Fondue would thrive in a loving home with people who will shower him with attention, play with him, and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’d love a canine sibling to wrestle with, older kids to dote on him, and a warm lap to curl up in at the end of the day.   He’s a little pup with a big heart, a wagging tail, and a whole lifetime of love to give. Could you be the lucky one to scoop up this melty, golden boy and call him yours?Fondue is an option for a home that has had a dog. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 5.March 5, 2025, 2:03 pm

Story
Honey is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She is on the smaller side of an average golden retriever, weighing about 35 pounds. She LOVES food and is very food motivated. She is very calm, loves to follow you around and she enjoys taking walks outside. She does well with other dogs. She was rescued from a meat truck in China, her vocal chords may have been removed sadly. She recently had a surgery to remove a lump on her front left leg and it came back as low grade sarcoma. She's not fully recovered yet, but doing well. She's ready to find her forever home! Please reach out if interested.

Story
Belle is obviously a beauty. She’s a sweetheart who’s super soft and loves to be loved. She is still decompressing from shelter life in her foster home. She is a bit anxious at times as well as dominant (namely mounting) with other dogs and occasionally people. An experienced home without kids and as a single dog, or with a submissive dog, would be best. That said, she’s food motivated and eager to please. With the right training, she’ll be a great companion. She arrived knowing sit, lie down, and shake. Her foster is working on getting her comfortable in a crate at night as she resists going into the crate, and complains quite a bit about it, but eventually settles in. She eagerly awaits her forever home.

Story
A tad shy, inexperienced, ready to gain courage and security, and will be loyal and loving companions. Moose and Honey are not nearly as big as Great Pyrs, they may be a 1/4 Pyr, or a 1/2 tops.... they are very light-hearted and silly when outside playing, they are not used to leashes or urban situations and are likely going to be more comfortable in rural or suburban homes with plenty outdoor space and time - and people and other animals....a mellow lifestyle, basking in sunshine and belly rubs!

Story
Note: Special Needs Dog due to Behavior/Shyness. This dog is bonded and must be adopted with Pepe. Are you looking for a gorgeous dog? What about a very shy dog? If you answered yes to both of these questions, Chee Yoo could be the perfect dog for you. Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. If you are interested in adopting Chee Yoo, we recommend that you come and spend time with her on several occasions so that she becomes comfortable with you. Chee Yoo is UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted.
