We got Red from a shelter and he is loving and cuddly. He wants to be around people and loves to lay at your feet for a pet. He likes walks a lot and is very excited about all the sights and smells when outside. He does not get along with our cat so that is our reason for the re-home. We are looking for anyone who would love to take on this two year old rescue. He does resource guard his treats and this is something that a trainer says is easy to overcome with training. This was not an issue for us, but the problem was with our cat.

We adopted Archie from Rancho Cucamonga when he was just three months old, and he has been the sweetest puppy ever since. Now, at about 8 months old, he has more than doubled in size! Archie is full of energy and love, which comes from the golden in him. He's incredibly gentle with our toddler and newborn, and he loves playing with our adult cat. His temperament is amazing, and he absolutely loves the beach, which is a big plus for us. This is Butter, we have had him for 8 years. Our home has had four dogs and one cat for this entire time with no problems; it has been great. Starting in the past two years, Butter and his brother Kirby (black dog) have been fighting with each other, becoming increasingly violent! We have tried to keep them separated, but it does not seem to be working very well. My fear is that his brother will keep attacking him, resulting in terrible wounds. He already has a scar on the top of his head from his brother attacking. Butter is a sweet and loving big dog, who has this wonderful ability to be very quiet and still when you are petting him. He is cheerful and eager to please, likes to hunt for lizards and carry things around in his mouth for fun. He has been fine with our older dogs, though he might do well as the only dog. He has not been socialized the best but seems willing to learn. Playful and treat oriented, but also crate trained and not hyper or overly energetic.

She loves water so it would be great if she could find a pool or head to the beach. She’s a larger dog (around 90lbs) so we would recommend older kids only.
