Meet Violet! This affectionate little girl is looking for an experienced and patient forever home to help her overcome her reactivity and become the best girl she can be! Due to some negative experiences when she was younger, Violet is quite reactive to other dogs on leash, and will also lunge at cars and passerby when she is out on walks. Violet is very smart and super food motivated, so we believe that with a confident guardian and consistent training she will learn to overcome her fears and improve her behaviour on leash. For the time being, however, Violet will need to live in a detached house in a quiet neighbourhood, preferably with a fenced backyard where she can get her zoomies out before heading out for a training-centered walk. At this time we will not be considering applicants that live in apartment buildings. While Violet has had good meetings with dogs off leash, we believe that while working through her leash reactivity she should go to a home without other pets or young children. In the home, Violet loves to climb into your lap for snuggles or wrap her paws around you for a nice big puppy hug! She will be a fantastic hiking or camping companion once she has made some progress with her leash manners, and this girl would love a garden where she can help dig some holes. This loving girl has endless potential, she just needs an experienced and dedicated family to help her reach it! Could you be the one Violet has been waiting for? Meet Raphael!Raphael is a very sweet, gentle puppy. He is going to be a big boy when he grows up, so he is looking for a home with lots of space to roam and play. He has already started working on his manners and house training and is doing a great job, but like all puppies, he will need a guardian that is patient with continuing puppy training. Puppyhood is precious and also a lot of work, so Raphael is looking for someone ready for the commitment. Raphael's breed is a mixture of active, working dogs, so he will need a lifetime of exercise and stimulation in his future. Raphael is doing very well with his socialization and would be great in a home with other friendly dogs or children. He has been previously in a foster home with young children and gets along with them well. Due to the high volume of applications we receive for puppies, we will be prioritizing in-person applicants.
