When I was found, a frightened puppy, Ella (also posted) was with me (but she was not mine), and thus we were rescued together. Come to find out we are half sisters. Same momma, different daddy.We were taken to the vet clinic, where I had surgery. Once we were stable, we were transported to our rescuers facility where we began our path to recovery.Though the trauma of everything has been particularly difficult for me, I have found solace in a soft bed, nutritious food, and the comforting presence of my bonded companion, Ella. In the company of the other playful and relaxed refuge dogs, I have been gradually regaining trust.I am not known to bark. While wary of unfamiliar humans and other dogs and will run away if pursued, you can get me in the house with gentle encouragement, once I trust you. So, still shy and prefer my buddy, Ella's company. However, I allow interaction without scurrying away from my rescuers now. If you will allow me the time to trust, I will continue to improve.I am a really sweet and passive pup. My rescuers determined to show ne that not all humans and dogs are a threat and that I am safe in their care. I flinch less now when petted, but still skulk when entering and leaving the house.I have adjusted to life without a tail. I may not have much more than a stump now, but I wiggle it with joy when happy.  I am slso used to living among humans and housemates.I am currently being leash trained. I prefer to sleep alone, with Ella sleeping nearby. It would be especially sweet, if Ella and me could be adopted together. We are listed as a bonded pair, but could potentially go to separate homes, as well.I am a fairly low maintenance dog, who doesn't require a lot of walking time. I am undemanding in my needs, so will make an easy dog for someone to incorporate into their home. I'd do best with another non-dominate type dog, so I am not pushed around. I am quite the gentleman, if I do say so myself.Found by my rescuer in Autumn on the side of the street in the Middle East, I was a very small puppy. There were some nice children around, they tried bringing me some pieces of bone, and while I was hungry, I was unable to eat this yet. So, my rescuer brought me home with her.While very good with children and other dogs, I do however bark at cats. Go figure. Maybe with proper intro, I'd be ok? Might be best to bypass the feline type in my new home for now.You'll find I am quite smart and learn very quickly. I love toys like stuffed animals. I do have a tendency toward digging in the yard where there are other dogs. Not sure if I would do this if I was an only. I have that exuberant puppyness yet, so I imagine as I mature and yountrain me, I will chill more.I am able to jump, so should have a home with a fence. If I get plenty of exercise otherwise, in a safe enclosed area or maybe as a running/hiking partner, I could manage without a yard. No off leash work until I am bonded with good recall, as I'm still a puppy and can get excited and run. I'm a bit hesitant at first going in the car, but tend to be calm.
