Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello my name is Oscar!  I had a rough start to life. We know that momma was a brindle pit mix and I look nothing like her! In fact I look nothing like any of my siblings. Dad was just a one night stand. We were told that dad was a golden retriever that runs the streets in the neighborhood we got them from.  Oscar is a sweet boy who enjoys other dogs (big and small) and has been around cats. He enjoys playing with toys and hanging out on his dog bed.  If your interested in Oscar please fill out an application at bbshonor.rescuegroups.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 11, 2024, 12:03 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TEDDY is available! 24-038 Teddy is a 4-year-old neutered male Golden Doodle.  Teddy began having seizures in January 2023, but due to some confusion on dosages and vet changes with his original family, he was having seizures periodically. He is currently on a regular time schedule for his meds, is eating a special neuro food, and his seizures are short, not severe, and he recovers well. His foster describes him as social, fun, loveable, and good with other dogs. He loves to watch movies and tv - especially if there are dogs in the movie.  He loves to interact with people. She must be adopted to an only dog home at this point. AGR wants Indi to succeed and be the best companion she can be. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BLUE is available! 24-031 Blue is a 4-year-old recently-neutered male Golden Retriever.   He was surrendered with his 4-year-old brother 24-032 Bailey, but we have determined their behavior together is detrimental to their success. They are mildly positive for valley fever and are on medication, even though they are not showing any symptoms. Blue is described as a typical affectionate Golden, he loves attention and is very food oriented.  He does jump so could knock over little kids or the elderly.  He needs training and must go to a home with NO OTHER DOG NOR CAT, as he is reactive to those. AGR wants Blue to succeed and be the best companion he can be. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.RIVER is available! 24-059 River  is a frightened young stray that was taken under the wing of a Good Samaritan who could not keep her. The finder contacted us and we have been working with River to build her confidence. She was terrified of people when we first got her, but has made great strides in learning to trust. River needs someone who is loving and patient to help her continue to grow and thrive. We think she would do great with another well-adjusted dog to show her the way. Young children are not advised. A fence is mandatory. She is currently on an anti-anxiety medicine to help her adjust and it is working well. River is looking for a quiet, well-balanced home to call her own. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ROWAN is available! 24-070 Rowan is a red male Golden/Lab mix, recently neutered, and estimated to be approximately 18 months old. He was found as a stray and was not chipped.  When the owner could not be found, the finder called AGR.  He is described as being friendly to people and dogs.  Rowan recently had a hematoma repaired on his ear flap and is wearing a cone for a few weeks, so he needs a relatively quiet place for now. He walked well on a leash for his transporter and his finder said he did well with her dogs. We do not know how he is with children, but he is a big boy at 76 lbs. He saw cats at the vet's office and did not show any interest. He is currently in foster care while we learn more about his personality.
