Story
Meet Miss Cora, a 2.5 year old Pitty/Retriever and a wonderful girl! She's potty trained, crate trained and loves to hop in the car with the windows open. She loves to play fetch with her favorite orange ball. Walks are short, as she'd rather play in the yard. Cora knows the commands to sit, paw and lie down and is highly motivated with treats! She takes them very gently. She loves her people. Sometimes she doesn't know her own size and can play a little hard, so older kids (teenagers) are best for her. If younger, slow intros are best until she knows to be softer. Cats are best with slow introduction as well. Cora is a kind soul and a momma to 11 babies!

Story
Tessa was brought into the county shelter as a frightened stray who had trouble walking on her hind limbs and was suffering from an upper respiratory infection. After x-rays were taken, it was determined that she has a severe spinal deformity. With her sweet face, we knew we needed to save her from euthanasia and get her into our care for further diagnostics. Thankfully, with the love and care of her foster family paired with excellent veterinary care, Tessa has fully recovered from her upper respiratory treatment. Tessa is crate- and house-trained, has lovely leash manners and sleeps through the night. She also does so well when left unattended at home. She is learning basic obedience, though considering how incredibly food-motivated she is, she's more than happy to do just about anything for a treat! Tessa absolutely LOVES to wrestle and run around with her foster fur-siblings. She loves all things fluffy (like herself), whether that’s napping in a cozy dog bed or squeaking her favorite stuffy. She is a playful, loving, silly girl just waiting for a family to call her own! Her dream home would include a doggy friend and have no stairs but plenty of yard to play in. Tessa’s adoption fee includes completed veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchip and spay. Apply now to let this golden girl light up your life with her brilliant smile, goofy personality and joy de vivre! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TEDDY is available! 24-038 Teddy is a 4-year-old neutered male Golden Doodle.  Teddy began having seizures in January 2023, but due to some confusion on dosages and vet changes with his original family, he was having seizures periodically. He is currently on a regular time schedule for his meds, is eating a special neuro food, and his seizures are short, not severe, and he recovers well. His foster describes him as social, fun, loveable, and good with other dogs. He loves to watch movies and tv - especially if there are dogs in the movie.  He loves to interact with people. She must be adopted to an only dog home at this point. AGR wants Indi to succeed and be the best companion she can be. BAILEY  is available! 24-032 Bailey is a 4-year-old neutered male Golden Retriever. He was surrendered with his 4-year-old brother 24-031 Blue, but we have determined their behavior together is detrimental to their success.  Bailey is described as a typical affectionate Golden.  He is a lover.  He needs training and must go to a home with NO OTHER DOG NOR CAT, as he is reactive to those. AGR wants Bailey to succeed and be the best companion he can be. Once he is adopted, AGR will pay for a two or three week training program at Partners Dog Training School, or other acceptable facility, to work with Bailey's issues with other dogs.
