Story
Hello! This is Ellie, I got her from a person who found her in an abandoned apartment. Unfortunately she does not get along with my little dog. I thought I found a new home for her but she is too energetic for them. She does require a lot of time and work. She is good with kids but she is VERY energetic. She is potty trained and spayed and up to date with vaccines. She is a sweet heart. She loves meeting new people and going new places. She is just the right amount of protective and friendly. She prefers to be outside instead of a cage, she doesn’t really swim but she does like to sit on the steps and get her legs in.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.OLIVER is available! 25-011 Oliver is a 6.5-year-old, 81-pound Purebred Golden, AKC Registered. He is not yet neutered, but AGR will handle that expense.  He had been with his owners since birth and was present when their young children (now 3 years old and 11 months) came home. Oliver is loving and sweet but suffers from chronic ear and skin infections that his owners struggle to treat due to time and financial constraints. He hasn't been around many other dogs or cats, gets excited greeting new people with a jump, knows basic commands, and is a wonderful family dog. His initial vetting has been done and he tested positive for valley fever with a low titer of 1:4.  Oliver will likely be on medications for the rest of his life for low thyroid, ear meds, and fluconazole for valley fever (the latter which might resolve over time). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BEAR is Available! 24-075 Bear is a young 1-year-old, intact red male and will be neutered at AGR's expense when age-appropriate (soon).  He is friendly and good-natured but very enthusiastic and jumps up on everyone he meets.  Bear has a sensitive stomach.  He previously lived with children and was good with them but could easily knock smaller children down. Handsome Bear is a very strong, energetic boy and will need socialization and basic obedience training with a family who has the time and patience to work with him. He requires a yard along with daily exercise (walking will not be enough). It is felt Bear would benefit from a resident companion dog. Prospective adopters will need to bring any resident dogs for a meet and greet with Bear. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. REILLY is available! Reilly is a handsome 6-1/2-year-old male purebred Golden retriever who was surrendered by a breeder who is downsizing her kennel.  Reilly has a wonderful temperament and is very affectionate. He is food-motivated and would benefit from a slow-feeder bowl. Reilly really wants to jump up and hug people, but is so big he could easily knock over small children or a frail person. He is a strong boy who pulls hard on a leash and will need training. He has lived in a home and gets along with other dogs but basically ignores them - he is more interested in people. Reilly is not yet neutered, but AGR will handle this expense when an adoptive home is identified where he can recuperate. Story
Meet Miss Cora, a 2.5 year old Pitty/Retriever and a wonderful girl! She's potty trained, crate trained and loves to hop in the car with the windows open. She loves to play fetch with her favorite orange ball. Walks are short, as she'd rather play in the yard. Cora knows the commands to sit, paw and lie down and is highly motivated with treats! She takes them very gently. She loves her people. Sometimes she doesn't know her own size and can play a little hard, so older kids (teenagers) are best for her. If younger, slow intros are best until she knows to be softer. Cats are best with slow introduction as well. Cora is a kind soul and a momma to 11 babies!
