Story
Riggins is a large handsome boy who likes to run around with the other dogs at the rescue. He is somewhat unsure of his place in the pack though. Time spent at a dog park socializing would probably help. Being a doodle, he has a lot of energy and would be best suited to an active family. He would do best with some basic obedience training. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Story
Odessa, the little white female, is the only one of these three frightened dogs to not be adopted. 2 years, 7 months in rescue and she is still quite broken, quite fearful…but she has come a long way as well. She enjoys being petted, although it takes her a few seconds to relax after you first touch her. But when we pet her & stop, she raises her head up and looks us right in the face. She wants more 😉 She’ll never be adoptable to most of the population. That’s ok, most people looking to adopt a dog are not looking for a dog like Odessa. However, that doesn’t mean we give up. There is certainly the kind of people who see her and know in their hearts she could love them. What we most wish for is that one of those very special adopters will see our girl. Sometimes all we really have are hopes and prayers & that’s kinda where we are now My name is Odessa. I am a petite girl who is quite unique looking. I have eyes of different colors! I love people and attention, I love to take walks and explore my surroundings and am quite good on the leash. I play well with other dogs too. I enjoy car rides and am crate trained. Having another dog in the home would help me with my confidence. Please take me home!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TNAdoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering.
