Story
*I am part of the Home for the Holidays adoption promotion! My adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until December 31. I would love to ring in the New Year with you!* ** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Hi, I`m Bagel!I am a sweet gal who is looking for a home to spend time with me and take me for walks! I am vision impaired and am looking for my furever family that will be patient with me. I`ve shown staff that I am a very tender, soft gal who would thrive in a quiet, calm home. I`m about 3 years old and weigh 58 pounds. I have a medical release that kennel staff can tell you more about when you come to meet me! Do you like dogs? I`ve been neutral towards other dogs here at the shelter. Please bring all dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m not sure. I would need slow introductions and supervision in order to live with a feline friend. Kids? I can be nervous and with my vision I get uncomfortable. I would need to be around kids 10+, who can be gentle and respectful towards me. Anything else you`d like us to know, Bagel? I was abandoned in the parking lot at Greenhill, so my history is a mystery. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugen

Story
Pangur is a very sweet 3-year-old pit bull husky. She is being rehomed because her previous owner has passed. She is a very active dog who likes regular walks and runs. She is a great hiking dog. She is a very loyal girl who loves her family, and she loves to cuddle on the couch. She will need a dedicated owner who loves dogs, as she is fear reactive and has separation anxiety. She is not suited for homes with cats, children, or other dogs as she can be very rambunctious and exhibit resource guarding. (She has a bite on her record, but it was a nip toward someone who was squeezing her.) She is about 80 pounds and healthy other than irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is easily managed, and she has all her shots up to date. She is potty and crate trained. Resources such as a crate, food, treats, toys, and bedding can all be provided as desired.
