Astro is a 4 year old energetic male husky mix. We got Astro from the Burlington County Animal Shelter about 2 years ago and he has been a wonderful companion. He enjoys long walks and laying at your feet.

Crookshanks is a charming 2-year-old pup, weighing 33 lbs of pure love and personality. He is full of energy but quickly settles down once leashed, making him a joy to walk and spend time with. During a recent outing, Crookshanks proved to be a well-mannered dog, responding to commands like "sit" and being great in the car. While walking at Country Park, Crookshanks displayed excellent leash manners. He would occasionally glance at passing people and dogs, but he remained calm and never pulled toward them or barked. The only time he showed excitement was when he spotted a squirrel, but he was easily redirected. Crookshanks loves affection and enjoys getting pets, treats, and toys. He has a playful side and engages happily during playtime. However, he can be a little nippy during play, so it’s important to keep fingers out of reach. He strikes a great balance of energy and calmness, making him an ideal companion for anyone seeking an active yet manageable dog. Crookshanks would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to learn and grow. With a little patience and plenty of love, he will make a wonderful addition to any family. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
