Duke is a sweet 6 year old husky/shepherd mix who will thrive as an only pet. He loves to snuggle and nap but also loves going on walks and playing outside. He does not like sharing attention or space with other dogs. He has never been around cats. He absolutely loves kids and prefers to spend his time playing with them. He is house and crate trained and trust motivated

Hi there! My name is Rose, and I'm a 1-year-old retriever with a lot of love and energy to share. I came here because my previous owner couldn't take care of me anymore due to health reasons. Now, I'm eagerly looking for a new family who can keep up with my playful spirit and give me all the love I deserve. I'm known to be a bit of a goofball and very hyper. I love to be the boss around here, but don't let that fool you - I'm incredibly lovable too. I do great with kids and other dogs, but I haven't had any experience with cats, so I'm not sure how I'd do around them. Sticks are my favorite toys, and I can spend hours playing with them! However, I can be a bit destructive when left alone for too long, so I could use some patience and positive reinforcement to help me learn to behave when I'm by myself. Storms are pretty scary for me, and baths aren't exactly my favorite either - I can be a little tough to get in and out of the car, but once we're on our way, I do alright. On walks, I have medium energy and sometimes follow commands. I don't know many tricks yet, but I'm eager to learn! Sometimes, I chase after birds, and I can be a bit fearful of my surroundings, but with your support, I know I can become more confident. When we're out and about, I might seem timid at times and stop to check on you often, but that's just because I need a little reassurance. I love giving hugs, especially when I'm feeling scared. Despite my fears, I did very well with other dogs during walks and was super excited to come back to the shelter after our outings. If you're looking for a lovable, energetic, and goofy companion who's ready to learn and grow with you, I'm your girl. I need a family who can be patient with me and help me feel safe and loved. Let's make each other's lives brighter!

Meet, CoCo! CoCo is a sweet, 1 year old girl that is sure to brighten any household! She loves to cuddle and be around her favorite people. She behaves well on a leash and has manners to sit at the door before going out. She is a beauty, inside and out. CoCo is pretty much down for anything but would do best in a home without cats. She loves to do training work and picks up on things really quickly. The sky is the limit with this girl! If you are interested in giving CoCo a forever home, please, fill out an application at ITVrescue.org. Coco's adoption fee was sponsored by a wonderful Spencer County Villager in hopes of helping her find her forever home. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary. ##2062844##
