Story
Introducing Rexy, a charming 2+ year old Siberian Husky with a heart as big as his love for adventure. He weighs 54 pounds. Abandoned by his previous owner, Rexy was found by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who instantly fell in love with him. Rexy is house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go out by pawing at the door. He knows commands like sit, stay, "up" for car rides, and down. Crate-trained and comforted by stuffed animals, Rexy is a friendly, attention-seeking companion. He thrived in a household with 3 dogs and enjoyed playing with children. Though he chased cats, he never harmed them. Rexy is easygoing, loves walks, and car rides, and needs a family with an active lifestyle. Loyal and affectionate, Rexy would make a great addition to any loving home.Rexy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, flea and parasite treated and is microchipped. He will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along.
