Story
Appa is a loving Siberian Husky. He just celebrated his second birthday in July. I purchased Appa from a litter in August of 2022. His mom and dad were show dogs, and his siblings all look just like him. It breaks my heart to have to rehome Appa, but at the age of 24 with all of the working and traveling I do, Appa does not get the attention he needs. I just moved into a small one bedroom apartment in SF and spend 8+ hours away each day. When I get home, i'm exhausted and poor Appa just wants to run around. He deserves a home where he can do that throughout the day in a backyard or just someone who works from home and can give hime the attention he needs. I am also constantly traveling, and have spent thousands of dollars boarding him that I can no longer afford. He is such a good boy- just a bratty personality like all huskies. I'm hoping I can rehome him local in the Bay Area so I can still visit him from time to time. I love you Appa. Adoption includes large dog crate and leash.

Story
Alvie is a perfect blend of adventure and calm. He loves bike rides, walks, and exploring new places, yet he has a laid-back nature, often content to sit at your feet while you work. Loyal and comforting, he’s the kind of dog who will quietly stay by your side, making him an excellent companion. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting his legs wet at the beach, showing off his adventurous spirit. Despite his independence, he’s also a big fan of snuggling next to your feet, offering both comfort and affection. With his stoic, regal demeanor, Alvie is an old soul who will become your loyal shadow once he trusts you. He takes treats with gentle care and his favorite snack is string cheese. Alvie is smart and responds well to guidance & structures. While he doesn’t require a husky-savvy owner, he would thrive best with someone experienced in handling dogs. From Alvie's foster dad: Alvie loves running or biking with his human. He comes back with a happy face every time. He is very responsive to obedience training. He knows sit, wait, heel, here, leave it and no. He prefers to meet other dogs slowly. Once he trusts you, he will be your ride or die. He has very good leash manners once awhile he just needs some "reminders". Alvie is crate and muzzle trained, with no signs of separation anxiety. However, due to his high prey drive, we don’t recommend placing him in a home with small animals. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous, and loving companion, Alvie is your perfect match. Apollo is a wonderful and loyal companion, with an incredible ability to bond deeply once he feels secure and trusts his person. Though he initially struggled with some dog reactivity, through patience and guidance, he overcame this challenge. He now prefers to focus on his human and is happiest when other dogs keep their distance. Apollo is affectionate and loves belly rubs, rolling over to soak in all the attention. He's regal, a dignified dog who carries himself with a sense of maturity, likely shaped by the hardships he's faced in the past. Despite this, he's ready to be a full-time working companion, thriving on structure, stability, and clear boundaries. His new home should provide him with safety and set rules, as Apollo responds well to leadership and consistency. While he’s not high-energy, he enjoys hikes and loves wearing his doggie backpack. He’s perfect for someone looking for a calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive best friend. Apollo would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention, as he’s a true “people dog.” He will absolutely thrive with someone who understands his need for structure and stability and will reward them with loyalty and love.
