Story
Finn is a very sweet Jack Russell terrier mix who has adorable eyes, a gentle manner, loves people, and gets along well with dogs, too! Finn walks great on a leash and likes to listen to people talk - but hardly ever barks at all. He even remains calm around other higher-energy pups who try to provoke him into chase. He also the most adorable habit of dragging his bed around bed around to different places to hang out, too. If you are looking for a smaller (25-pound) pup who would love a home and family of his own, please apply to adopt Finn today!

Story
Scout is such an adorable little girl. Only 15 pounds, she is soft and fluffy, loves to go for walks and explore everything - but also enjoys being carried around! She loves meeting new dogs, cats, and people and would be a wonderful new family member. Scoutie is a sweet happy dog who is playful, silly, and affectionate. She is active enough to taking hiking and loves to play with toys, but also enjoys snuggling on the couch. As Scoutie is quite bright and very focused on her people, she should be easy to train with non-food rewards. She rides well in the car and is happy to join you on your adventures. She's been sleeping peacefully through the night in a crate in foster care but would prefer to sleep all snuggled up with her people. We've noticed she is barky when she's home alone so don't think she's suited for apartment living. Scoutie lived with a dog-savvy cat in foster care and would chase a little if it ran, but was quite intimidated when it stood it's ground. We saw no evidence of cat aggression and think she'd be fine in a home with a cat. She has also been fostered with school age children. Scoutie seems to genuinely love kids. She greets them with whole body wiggles and kisses. However she is a small dog and can be defensive about rough handling so would be best with older children that have some dog experience. Scoutie was briefly fostered with a larger dog. She seemed to enjoy it's company but was sometimes protective of her toys and her personal space. She'd be fine as an only dog or with another dog that is going to take her occasional small dog attitude in stride. She was good with other dogs we met in public or passed on the street
