Story
Little terrier Jack is still looking for a forever home, after months in care. We didn't expect it to take this long to find him one.Sweet, shy Jack just needs a little time to warm up, and then he'll be someone's best friend. He's 15 pounds and only a year old.Jack is a bashful puppy with a heart of gold. His timid nature often keeps him by the sidelines, but his kindness shines through in every wag of his tail. He finds comfort in quiet corners and gentle pats on the head. He enjoys naps in his crate, his "den" where he feels comfortable.Jack is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, crate-trained and working on house-training. He gets along with adults, kids and other dogs. He wants to make friends with cats so they can play together, although the cats may not be impressed. He's being fostered in Las Cruces, but can be transported to the Albuquerque area or somewhere else in the general region of the state. Transportation to meet a potential adopter wouldn't obligate the person to adopt if they found it wasn't the right fit. His sister Jill is also looking for a forever home. They can be separated. ##2220653##

Story
Buddy was found in the desert back in May ‘24. We brought him home, cleaned him up, took him to the vet, and got him neutered. He got a clean bill of health and was caught up on his vaccines. He is a very smart and energetic dog and can run really fast and jump high. He gets a long great with our elderly lab mix dog and is house broken. The vet said he was about 6months back in June. He also is very loving towards the adults and our older teen. He has not taken to our energetic 5 year old child and tends to growl and snip at him. For this reason we decided it’s been long enough of a trial and we would find him a home. He is crate trained at night and seems to find comfort in the routine of it. We do have to work hard to keep our son’s toys off the floor as he will confuse them with his own toys but other than that has not destroyed or damage anything in our house. He is very fun and sweet with everyone so far except our young son and he is a very fast learner. He loves walks and fetch.
