Story
Meet Madeline, a female terrier/hound mix puppy born to mama Snickerdoodle on 9/22/24! Snickerdoodle (a small/medium sized terrier/hound mix) was picked up as a stray in East TN when she was heavily pregnant. Paws Rescue League took her into rescue and placed her into a loving foster home, where she gave birth to 7 puppies (the Cookie litter) shortly afterwards. Sadly, only 3 of the 7 puppies survived. Madeline is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with appropriate training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. Madeline and her siblings are arriving in New England soon, and we are accepting applications on them now! We work hard to match each dog to the best home for them. Apply to meet this sweet girl today! Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!  ##2226725##

Story
Meet Snickerdoodle, a sweet 2-3 year old small/medium sized female terrier/hound mix! Snickerdoodle was picked up as a stray by animal control in east TN when she was heavily pregnant. Paws Rescue League took her into rescue and placed her into a loving foster home, where she gave birth to 7 puppies (the Cookie litter) on 9/22. Sadly, only 3 of the 7 puppies survived. Snickerdoodle has been a wonderful, loving mama to her babies, but her mama days are now behind her, and she is ready to head north to find her furever home!  Snickerdoodle is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.  She is medically up to date (will be spayed prior to adoption), crate trained, and housebroken. Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable.
