Midge was rescued from the shelter when we went to scoop up some newborn puppies. We saw her adorable face pressed up against the bars of her kennel and knew we couldn’t leave her behind. She hopped into the rescue van and away we went! Midge weighs around 12 pounds and according to her foster, she’s just the happiest gal ever. Midge does have a shedding coat but it could be managed with grooming. Midge can’t wait to bounce into your life and never let you go! Midge is an affectionate, snuggly little goofball who is prepared to tumble into your lap with a toy and show you her playful side! If you’re hoping for a constant shadow who’s always ready for a belly rub or a snuggle, Midge is your gal! She would be an amazing companion for someone who works from home, as she loves just being near her people. However, she’s totally fine to amuse herself for hours if you need to leave her at home. Midge is a total foodie and a super smart gal, so we think she would thrive in any training class. She’s also a magician! When she’s near socks, she can make them disappear! Oh Midge… Midge would be an awesome addition to any home looking for a faithful companion who will shower them in love and affection. Her foster mom absolutely raves about her and we know what a high compliment that is! You won’t be able to resist her adorable puppy dog eyes and her wagging tail as she charms you from the moment you meet her. Midge wakes up around 7 AM and heads out for the potty with all the resident dogs. She eats breakfast at 9 AM and then heads into her crate for a nap as her foster mom goes to work. In the afternoon, she enjoys some playtime with the playful resident dog, zooming across the yard and smiling with joy. She goes on a walk with the pack around 5 PM, before she comes home for dinner at 6 PM. In the evening, Midge snuggles with her foster mom as she watches TV. She goes out for one last potty and then heads to her crate at 9 PM. Midge gets along fabulously with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. She would be a great companion animal. She is potty trained and crate trained. When she meets new people, she needs a few minutes to get settled in, but once she knows you, she loves you forever! Midge would benefit from some additional training but has gotten a great base from her foster home. Ready for cuddles and kisses? Come meet Midge today! Midge is an option for a variety of homes, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.November 19, 2024, 4:27 pm
