Meet Russell 🐾 Russell came to Big Dog Ranch just in time after being rescued from a high-kill shelter in Alabama. This handsome boy was given a second chance at life, and he’s been making the most of it ever since. Russell is great with other dogs—both big and small—though he truly shines when he’s around bigger canine friends. He walks well on a leash and is always happy to head out on a new adventure, especially if it means exploring the world by your side. People are one of Russell’s favorite things. He loves meeting new friends and is always eager for hugs, belly rubs, and plenty of scratches. His sweet, affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around. Now that he’s safe, healthy, and thriving, Russell is ready for adoption and excited to start the next chapter of his life. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to love you with his whole heart, Russell may be the perfect match for you. ❤️🐶

Meet Chaplin, a resilient schnauzer who has overcome adversity with courage. He came to us from a backyard breeder and required a shave due to severe matting, but this hasn't dampened his spirit. Chaplin is a vibrant 8-month-old pup who thrives in the company of other dogs, barks minimally, and is making rapid progress with housebreaking. Weighing 8 pounds, he'll remain compact, reaching a maximum of 12 pounds in adulthood. Although initially shy, Chaplin quickly reveals his true, affectionate nature. He dreams of finding a forever home this Christmas. If you're interested in welcoming Chaplin into your family, please apply. DOB: 3/7/2025 Adoption fee for this dog includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
