Story
Indiana Jones ("Indy") is going to make the most amazing companion! He is a loyal shadow, following you everywhere you go and loves to snuggle close to his humans. He's already almost completely potty trained and sleeps through the night in his crate without any accidents. Like any puppy, he is full of energy. He is teething and biting a bit, but he'll be a good boy with some training. He'll need a home that can take him out often to play and exercise, as he needs a lot of stimulation throughout the day to be happy and on his best behavior. He chases the resident cats sometimes because he wants to play, but he is learning their boundaries and being patient with them. He is so young that we think he'll be just fine with any pets! Indy has stolen our hearts and we know he's going to make his forever family so happy.  Mandatory in person transfer date: November 3rd at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. ##2205465##

Jacks is an awesome little pup. He gets lots of attention when we are out and about with his plush brindle coat and markings. He has a great personality and his middle name is trouble with a big T. Although not house broken, he is starting to ring a bell to go out. So far he has not been destructive nor showing any puppy nipping typically associated with teething. He plays nice with her sister and shares his toys. He's good for belly rubs and settles down nicely with chew toys. Jacks is crate trained and sleeps through the night! Ideally we would love to find a home or a farm that has a huge outdoor space close to Manassas, VA 20112 (or approximately within 25 miles proximity to Manassas). Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Amelia's Bowser - Bowser was born on 8/17/24. Bowser is 11 weeks old and weighs about 18 lbs. Our best guess on breed mix is German Wire Haired Pointer/Hound (just a guess). Bowser is a total sweetheart who really loves his people and dogs. He follows his foster around like a shadow and enjoys a good cuddle. Bowser loves playing with the dogs in his foster home. He sleeps through the night in his crate with no accidents. Bowser is still working on potty training. Amelia is his mom (pic is included) and she has been an awesome mom who is very attentive to her puppies. Amelia has a sweet and gentle personality. Bowser will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. This puppy will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00. The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
