Story
Meet Hudson, a sweet 10-year-old, 12-pound long-haired Chihuahua mix. Hudson is a true lover—he thrives on belly rubs, playing with toys, enjoying healthy treats, and going on car rides. He’s also a bit of a talker, always ready to share his thoughts with you, whether it’s a happy bark or a cute whine to let you know he’s around. Hudson may be a little older, but he’s full of joy, affection, and personality. He’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, gentle dog who just wants to be by your side. While he does have arthritis, it doesn’t slow him down from offering endless love and companionship. Because of Hudson's senior status, his adoption fee is reduced to $200. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-negative. Visit istodaymydayrescue.org and fill out an adoption application today to learn all about Hudson.

Story
Tiny Toshi is tipping the scales at 4.8 pounds. Toshi spent the first 3+ years of his life as a breeder dog. He had very little socialization and no training. With lots of love and patience from his foster family, he is on the road to becoming a wonderful family or companion dog. Toshi’s adopter will have to have lots of patience and understanding, as he can sometimes be fearful. He is crate trained, doing well on potty training and started on leash training. Everything is new and a little scary. Toshi is sometimes fearful of sudden movements. He enjoys sitting on laps and getting treats. Toshi dog friendly. He would likely do well with a dog sibling in the home. He has not been around cats. A securely fenced yard is preferred. We are looking for that very special home for Toshi! He needs a lot of love, care and patience to undo the last three years. Someone who will help him continue his wonderful progress that his foster mom has already started. If you think you fit that bill, please make an application to meet this sweet little guy. Toshi is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all shots and preventatives. His adoption fee is $325.
