Story
Oscar came to us after spending the first 18mo of his life living in a breeder hutch... As you can imagine this means he hasn't seen much of the world and is rather shy and skittish. Oscar would do best in a quiet home where he can just hang out and be your buddy, once he gets to know you, he loves a good chin scratch and a warm lap. He will also need someone who is patient and understanding of the fact he has never lived in a home and make take a bit to learn to trust those who live in it. We would classify him as a "project dog." All that said he is a graduate of our Basic Manners Shelter Dog class and absolutely loved every moment of it. What can we say the way to his heart is through his stomach! If you are looking for a small, laidback, adorably scruffy dude Oscar might be the one for you!

Story
Meet Jerry. Or as we like to call him, Judgmental Jerry because his favorite hobby is to sit on his thrown and judge everyone around him. Jerry came to us around 18mo old as a puppy mill/ backyard breeder dump, after living in a small "breeder hutch" his whole life. As you can imagine this has caused him to be very nervous and unsure about the world. He takes a while to warm up, but he is slowly learning to trust the people in his life. Jerry is what we would call a "project dog" and will need someone willing to take their time to allow him to settle in and go at his pace. Jerry will need a home that is very calm, quiet, and understanding of his lack of confidence and life experience. With the right person and in the right home we know this boy will blossom into an amazing dog.
