Story
Meet Tripper, the Pomsky with a heart as sweet as honey! At 8 years old and weighing 45 pounds, this charming lady has an incredible story to tell. Tripper, a loving mother who once raised the most enchanting pups known as "The Beatles litter," ensured they all found their forever homes. Now, it's her turn to find a loving forever family. Tripper is the embodiment of sweetness. Her love knows no bounds, and her warm heart is open to everyone she meets, with a special soft spot for kids. This happy-go-lucky pup is perpetually adorned with a heartwarming smile. Tripper's zest for life is evident in her love for walks, car rides, and making new friends. She's not only house-trained and crate-trained, but also adapts beautifully to being left to roam freely. Tripper is a sociable soul and gets along well with other dogs. However, it's worth noting that she's not a fan of feline friends. Though Tripper has diabetes, it's no obstacle to offering her a loving home. Giving her insulin shots is a small price to pay for the boundless affection and joy she'll bring into your life. Tripper is a testament to resilience, love, and the unwavering sweetness of a dog's heart. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loyal companion ready to light up your world with love and smiles. Her minimum adoption fee is $145 plus a $15 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Zuko, our handsome 3-year-old Pomsky who weighs about 25 pounds.  Zuko is learning the ropes of trust, love, and companionship! He requires a quiet, calm home with a secure, fenced yard to keep him safe. His new home should have few visitors and an owner experienced with fearful dogs. If there are kids in the home, they need to be respectful teenagers who are able to give Zuko time and patience to adjust. This sweet boy is making progress on his house training and is comfortable in his crate. He gets along well with his foster dog siblings (who are all bigger than him) and would benefit greatly from having a confident canine companion in his forever home, as other dogs help him build his confidence. As his foster mom shares, “Zuko is very sweet but still a very shy. Each day, he’s learning to trust people more. While he’s not a snuggler, he’s curious about being close to people and will follow you from room to room.” Though he’s still figuring out if he likes head pets, he’s showing more interest in connecting with people. If you’re a patient, understanding dog lover with a calm home, Zuko might be the perfect companion to share your life with.  His adoption fee is $295  plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.  He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at:   http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm Wish Bone Canine Rescue  1303 Morrissey Drive Bloomington, IL 61701 www.wishbonecaninerescue.org           Since its our desire that you have a pet you can enjoy a lifetime of love with you, we take special measures to ensure that the pet is the best match for you and your family.  We require that you complete our online www.wishbonecaninerescue.org (Please give us 24 hours to verify your information).
