Story
Fluffy is an 8 week old Teeny Tiny pup weighing a whopping 2lbs.  Her mom is a 10lb Terrier and we don't know who her dad was, but we are guessing a Pomeranian or a ttiny fluffy breed along those lines.  Fluffy's mom was dumped at a shelter just days before giving birth.  Unfortunately we weren't able to get her out of the shelter before she gave birth, but we were able to get her to CO and to a wonderful foster home within 2 weeks of giving birth, and we were lucky all her puppies survived.  Fluffy is one of 7. Fluffy and all her siblings are absolutely adorable, sweet, loving, and playful.  They have all been well socialized and get along with all other pups and and humans.  We are guessing they will be about 6-12lbs full grown.   If you are interested in adopting Fluffy or one of her siblings, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2203144##

Story
Meet Jules, the dog who has stolen all of our hearts here at Farfel's!!! Jules is a 3-year-old Pomeranian mix with a heart as big as his fluffy personality! At just 7 pounds, he’s a little bundle of joy who is sure to steal your heart with his adorable looks and loving nature. Jules is a true cuddle bug who thrives on affection, and his cuteness is simply irresistible. He is also cat-friendly! Jules was born missing part of his ear canal in his left ear. Because of this, he is deaf. His hearing loss doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest, affectionate companion he was meant to be. Besides being deaf, the only thing his missing ear canal slightly effects is his ability to get on and off furniture or navigate stairs, due to the way it makes his ears hang, offsetting his balance just the tiniest bit. Jules still walks and eats and everything else like normal. He just needs a hand going up and down stairs, and getting on and off the couch / bed. Luckily, he is a teeny tiny 7 lbs, so it's no problem scooping him up and giving him a hand when needed. From Jule's foster: * * * * "Jules is an absolute GEM! Something about his silly little self makes him so darn cute and so darn lovable. He is a gentle, affectionate soul who loves everyone he meets and is always up for a snuggle. He doesn't require much in the way of exercise. Jules is a laid-back couch potato who’s perfectly content chilling in your lap or being carried around. He’s the kind of dog who would happily go wherever you go, enjoying the ride and the attention. He does the cutest happy dance when he’s excited where he dances and spins in circles! While stairs and steps can be tricky for him, Jules is so small and easy to carry that it’s never a problem. He does need a little help getting up on the sofa or bed, but once he’s there, he’s in heaven, snuggling up and making himself comfy. He asks for help when he wants to go up on the couch or up the stairs by doing a cute little "boof" at you as if he's saying "mommmm, help please!" Jules is a champ in his crate, where he happily naps during the day and sleeps soundly at night. He even tucks himself into his crate for bed! He loves being held and carried around, making him an ideal "purse dog" or travel companion. Jules’ Special Traits: -Great with our dog: Though he doesn't engage in much play, Jules gets along beautifully with other dog. - Great with cats: Jules is 100% chill with the cats—he’s unfazed and completely relaxed around them. -Leash walks: He’s great on leash and enjoys slow-medium paced walks around the neighborhood. -Barking: Jules is not a big barker! While he does bark occasionally, it’s mostly when he’s stuck somewhere (like on the sofa or at the top or bottom of stairs), and wants you to assist him. He’s not a constant barker and is very calm on walks or outside. -Playful moments: He enjoys a little game with a small ball, chasing it and chewing on it, though he’s not overly active in play. -Non-destructive: Jules is a mellow guy who doesn’t have any destructive habits and is a perfect little gentleman in the house. -Ear and hearing: Jules is deaf, but that doesn’t bother him at all. His missing ear canal gives him a unique look, with one ear standing up and the other floppy, but it only adds to his charm. In short, Jules is a sweet, silly, and lovable little guy who is sure to bring joy to any home. We love him to pieces, and he’s truly the kind of dog who deserves his own cartoon—he’s that cute and quirky! If you’re looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion who will cuddle his way into your heart, Jules is your guy!" * * * * Jules has been fully vetted, vaccinated, and neutered. These protocols support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to overpopulation in the canine community. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
