Do you know me? I am an approx. 7-9 year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer/Dalmatian mix. I was found running loose on Anna Cade Drive on 3/7/26. Unfortunately, I am not microchipped and am now at Rockwall Adoption Center on stray hold for the next 72-hours in order to allow my owners time to reclaim me. If you recognize me or know where I belong, please call RAC at (972) 771-7750 ext. 2 **I am not available for meet and greet appointments or adoption at this time**  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Meet Valen! Valen is an approximately 1.5-year-old female Pointer/Dalmatian mix who is now ready to find her forever home. She was found running loose near Hwy 276 and 548 on 3/6/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now this sweet girl is hoping her next chapter leads to a loving family of her own. Valen has already won over the hearts of the shelter staff with her gentle, affectionate personality. She is a very social and happy girl who enjoys meeting new people and gladly soaks up any love and attention she can get. She walks nicely on a leash and seems eager to spend time with her humans. Because Valen is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure a good fit for everyone. Valen's adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm test. Her spay surgery, rabies vaccine, and heartworm test are scheduled for Wednesday, 03/11/26. This appointment date is non-negotiable and required in accordance with Texas state law, so adopters should plan accordingly.
