Story
Meet cute-as-can-be Kip! There are few things his handsome boy loves more than being around his people. The only thing he might love more is snacks - but who can blame this growing boy? Kip loves to be loved on (did somebody say "pets?) and to show his humans just how much he loves them (puppy snuggles, anyone?). Kip would love a forever home with another playful dog, a yard for running around, some tasty bones to chew on, and fun toys to play with. Of course, Kip is looking for forever humans who will continue his training. Kip is a smart boy who is eager to please, so he is already doing a great job on his way to mastering housebreaking and leash training. With loving praise and delicious treats, this smart cookie will know his stuff in no time! If you're looking to fill your home with lots of love, smiles, and tail wags, Kip is definitely your guy! Interested in making Kip a part of your family? If so, fill out an adoption application! Questions? Story
Meet the loyal and playful Snickers. He is a 1-year-old, 60-pound German Shorthaired Pointer mix. Like a typical GSP, he has lots of energy and loves to play fetch! He will do anything for food and gets along with other dogs. He currently lives with a female Basset Hound. He was adopted him from a rescue at Petsmart last year. He's not a big cuddler, but he is protective of us and our home. An ideal home for Snickers would be one with a big yard or property where he can stay busy. Snickers is crate/leash/house trained and knows the commands sit and stay. He is one smart pup! This loyal pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Story
Dunlin is a 2 year old, 50 lb German Shorthair Pointer mix that came to Humane Tomorrow from Florida during Hurricane Milton evacuations. This beautiful girl has a sweet temperament, along with a lot of energy. Dunlin loves running around outside, but she also has her chill side when she enjoys hanging out on the couch. Her most favorite thing is just being where her people are. She will actually sit with them and watch TV. She still likes to chew and will need durable chew toys. Dunlin is smart and already knows the sit, lay down, stay, and shake commands. She is potty pad trained and close to being totally potty trained. She is still getting used to her crate and making progress. She gets along with other dogs and should do well with kids over the age of 10. Dunlin can jump really high, especially when she sees a bird, so she needs a yard with at least a secure 6' fence (and no pet birds!). Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Romeo is a 6-week-old puppy with a unique and lovable personality. He came to me unexpectedly after the person who couldn’t care for him left him at my home and didn’t return. His mother had a litter of 8 puppies, and Romeo has been with me for about a week. In that short time, he’s shown how incredibly smart and quick to learn he is. He already knows his name, sits on command, brings toys, and has started using a potty pad. He’s very energetic, playful, and happy—a truly special little guy!Unfortunately, I can’t keep Romeo as I live in a small apartment and am returning to work soon, so I won’t be able to give him the attention he needs. Romeo requires a lot of time, care, and training, but he has so much potential to become an amazing companion. I’m looking for a loving home where Romeo will have plenty of space to play, lots of attention, and someone who is ready to train him further. He’s a loyal, intelligent, and joyful puppy who deserves the best home.

Story
Taco is a sweet big baby. He’s 2 yrs old. Neutered and house trained. Hes a big ball of energy and love. We got him from a former neighbor. I would love to keep Taco but we have a 7 month old baby and the older our baby gets the more I’m faced with reality that I can’t give Taco the time, attention and love he so much needs. Taco eats a grain free diet.

Story
Jax was a shelter favorite, came in under one, under weight, under loved, and completely shut down well, he is a beautiful broad lovable boy now. Weighing in at 55 lbs (might be a little over weight as treats are definitely his thing). Very friendly, good with kids, did great with the seniors. And just loves belly rubs. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
