Story
Meet Madi! I received a message from a sweet young lady, that had just saved Madi. She saw Madi lying in the ditch right off the road and she had been hit by a car. This Good Samaritan’s name is Madison! (That’s why I decided to call her Madi) Madison ran Madi to the nearest vet and explained she had just been hit, but she didn’t have the money to pay for the vet bills. She started contacting rescues because she didn’t want to take her to the Cleveland shelter after things she had been hearing. Neither one of us could stand the thought of her being put down just for a broken leg, so she’s safe. Her stray hold has ended, although I strongly believe she had been dumped. The 1st vet first checked for a microchip, which she didn’t have. They verified that there is a break and splinted her. Then the 2nd vet (after we picked her up) decided it would be best to have the leg amputated, so that’s what happened. The vet estimated she was born March 2024 and currently weighs around 35 pounds. She is current on all shots and heartworm tested negative. Now that her amputation area has healed and she’s a healthy girl, she will be spayed and microchipped on 1-7-25 and ready to find her home! (She definitely will need to be leash walked only or have a secure fence.) The adoption fee is $200 to an approved and loving home. This adoption fee doesn’t even come close to the amount of the vet bills this sweet (and lucky) girl cost! lol All vet records (there’s a lot of them) and her collar will be given to the adopter(s) at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Tyson came to us as a foster for another Rescue. That Rescue decided it was in his best interest to hand over to Bully Me Not since I have full knowledge of him and his needs. Tyson is a sweet boy, very affectionate and loving, so much so that he doesn't share his attention. He resource guards and you are his biggest resource. He is also food aggressive. Just feed separately. Negatives being said, he is very intelligent and loves to play with the other dogs in the yard. He absolutely adores puppies!! He is extremely gentle with everything and submissive with dogs and people. He does have some hunting instincts in him. He will tree a squirrel and then look to you. He also will watch birds and wait for his opportunity. He has patience and love and wants to please. He really is a great boy!
