Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Groot, a sweet and energetic Chesapeake Retriever, is a loving 60lb lap dog at heart. He loves running and being loved. Crate trained and leash-walking without pulling, Groot is sensitive to emotions and will help when he senses pain or discomfort. However, our household lacks the energy to match Groot’s enthusiasm. He needs an active family to love and exercise him regularly. While we can take him to a safe area for a long, unleashed run once or twice a week, he craves more exercise than we can provide. Our household consists of a nearly retired person and a disabled person, making it challenging to meet Groot’s needs. Groot has coexisted peacefully with our cats, but he’s shy and nervous around children, occasionally nipping at them. We’re unsure how he’d fare with other dogs in a household. During walks, he avoids them and can become aggressive if they persist in approaching. Groot would thrive in a home where he can run alongside his person, as that’s what truly brings him joy.
