Story
Although Beau doesn’t look like it, he is still considered a puppy for a couple more months. We rescued Beau from a bad living situation. He was living in filth and eating out of the trash. When he became sick the previous owners were not going to take him to the vet because they didn’t have money. So we agreed to pay the vet bill but we would be taking the dog after. He is fully recovered now and back to his puppy self. Although he is not currently vaccinated or neutered, the appointments are set to have them done. Beau is under a year, about 8or 9 months. He loves to cuddle and play fetch. He likes to spend his days being active outside and his evenings sleeping where ever his people settle. We are not keeping Beau because my plate is already full with three kids and two cats.

Story
"Bella is a friendly and beautiful dog who is full of energy and love. She came into the shelter July 9, 2024 and was adopted and back as of September 6, 2024 when her owners health declined and could no longer care for Bella. Sad for them both, She is excited to begin her next journey of life with a fun loving person or family. She came in around 1 year 6 months old and is current on shots. She is affectionate, playful, funny, and she is sure to win your heart with her antics. Bella is a sweetheart and eager to learn and is always eager to please. She loves to go on walks and explore the outdoors, but she is also content to relax at home and snuggle up with her favourite people. She loves to fetch a toy and can catch a fresbie rung in mid air. Just a cool girl! Bella has a lot of love to give and is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention. Bella can't wait to meet you and start a new adventure in her life. Could you be her special someone?" If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.
