Story
OTHER PETS: Moose is friendly and wants to play with other dogs, but does not take feedback well and is occasionally pushy or rude (like putting a paw on the other dog's back.) Moose would do BEST as an only dog; however he may do well with a confident, tolerant dog OWNER EXPERIENCE: [First Dog] KIDS: Moose is a calm, friendly dog who would likely get along with all sorts of humans. He has recently had ear surgery, and is sensitive with his head being handled - which is to be expected. Moose should meet any minor humans he would be living with prior to adoption - ALL HUMANS IN THE HOME SHOULD BE ABLE TO LEAVE MOOSE'S HEAD ALONE SO HE CAN HEAL APPROPRIATELY. [7+ (Must Meet First)] ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moose enjoys getting outside, but does not seem to like inclement weather too much. He is working on loose leash walking, so hitting the walking paths is a great way to keep improving Moose's leash walking skills with positive reinforcement to help him use his energy appropriately. He enjoys playing with humans and is goofy [Good Walking Buddy]VETERINARY CARE: Moose arrived with a hematoma on his ear, likely due to irritation from shaking his head from ear infections. He had surgery to drain to his ear, is currently on medication and recovering. A good relationship with a vet will be necessary, as we are unsure if Moose's ear infections are a chronic issue or not. [ABOVE AVERAGE]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Moose bond with his new owner as well as help him learn important skills. Further positive reinforcement training will keep Moose's mind engaged and will open the door to lots of fun activities. [Minimal] GROOMING: [Minimal]February 11, 2025, 2:33 pm

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
