Story
Luna is a 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix. She was adopted when she was a puppy and has been with the same owner since. She is crate trained and house trained. Unfortunately, she is not great with children and with a growing family has not adapted to our lifestyle. She is very anxious in cars and rides in a crate. That aside, she is so loving and just needs the right situation and family to love. Luna is very food motivated so if you have the time, can be easily trained. She will love you loyally if you give her the chance.

Story
We were told that Luna is a 4-year old female Pointer mix and was living in a cage long hours daily. We rescued her just a few months ago. She is very affectionate but still a bit timid and afraid of a a few things like vacuum cleaners and trucks. She is very gentle and has never bitten anyone or anything. Her hunter instincts were brought out while in our foster home and, she needs a safe fenced space where she can run and fulfill her breed need for exercise. She is a high energy dog and daily physical and mental stimulation is very appreciated. She really enjoys outdoor activities like running, hunting, chasing, sniffing and playing outdoor games. She enjoys going out on trails. She also enjoys a comfortable couch to lay down and relax after some outdoor activities. She is truly affectionate! She did very well with a puppy in the neighborhood. Luna is the most intelligent dog we have ever fostered.
