Story
Mandatory in person transfer date: February 22nd at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. Stud Muffin is an active, confident, smart boy.  He is only 10weeks old and loves his puppy sized adventures outside. He loves to play and is very active. His GSP breed characteristics are on full display when he is playing outside. He uses his nose and loves to retrieve.  He plays well and holds his own with his much larger foster brothers who are ten times his size.   He has a beautiful coat and loves to be brushed. We are working on handling as he isn’t keen on being picked up as he would rather be playing with his toys. He is a love bug and checks in often for cuddles.  Crate training has been a breeze so far. He will go in the crate by himself when he wants a break from his foster brothers or wants to nap. He sleeps through the night with no issues. Potty training is going well but isn't 100% yet.   If you want an active, smart, fun companion, Stud Muffin will be the perfect fit.  ##2292336##

Story
Meet Oreo! This charming 6-month-old pointer mix is a bundle of joy and affection, eager to be wherever his people are 🥰. With his friendly personality, he has a knack for making everyone around him feel loved and appreciated. Oreo has a soft spot for snuggling, and there’s nothing he enjoys more than curling up next to you after a fun day of play. Although he’s not overly energetic, Oreo has a playful side that shines through when he’s in the yard. He loves to romp around, chase after a ball, and engage in friendly wrestling matches with his canine companions. His playful spirit makes him a great buddy for both kids and other dogs, ensuring there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. Oreo has already mastered the art of being a well-behaved pup—he’s crate and house trained, which takes away much of the typical stress that comes with raising a puppy. This means you can focus on enjoying his company without worrying about the usual puppy challenges. He’s neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, making him ready to join a loving family. While he does well with kids and other dogs, he tends to be a bit too curious around cats, so a feline-free environment wouldd be best for him. Oreo is looking for his forever family—someone who will appreciate his sweet nature and enjoy the companionship he has to offer. Don’t miss your chance to adopt this wonderful boy. He’s sure to bring endless joy and love into your home! If you’re interested in making Oreo a part of your family, reach out today! ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
Luna is a 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix. She was adopted when she was a puppy and has been with the same owner since. She is crate trained and house trained. Unfortunately, she is not great with children and with a growing family has not adapted to our lifestyle. She is very anxious in cars and rides in a crate. That aside, she is so loving and just needs the right situation and family to love. Luna is very food motivated so if you have the time, can be easily trained. She will love you loyally if you give her the chance.

Story
Starr-German Shorthaired Pointer male, ~ 12 mo. (Dec. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application Starr came to rescue recently, along with his brother, Ringo, after being evaluated to be a Service Dog. He's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. The trainer says he has a sweet temperament and shows signs of being very 'birdy'. He is house trained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with his inmate trainer. He's had basic obedience. Starr learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. He has not met cats, but will be cat tested in the near future. Starr is an active boy and will enjoy a lifestyle that fits his personality. He'll love hiking, running...anything active. Starr's adoption fee is $450 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
