Story
Meet Shadow, a loyal and affectionate companion who lives up to his name by staying by your side wherever you go. Shadow thrives on being with his family, happily following you from room to room and keeping you company throughout the day. His favorite activities include cuddling, snuggling, and showing his playful side with zoomies in the yard, especially when he has a dog friend to chase. Shadow is an excellent watchdog, alerting you to any visitors or animals that might be around. He is naturally submissive and playful with other dogs. While he may be best suited for a home with older children or adults, he’s eager to build a bond with his new family. Shadow does have some anxiety, particularly when on a leash, which can make walks a bit challenging. However, he feels much more comfortable in a secure, fenced yard where he can explore freely. With the right environment and a family that understands his quirks, Shadow will be the perfect, loving companion!  Shadow’s ideal owners would be: Patient and understanding: Someone who can gently help him manage his anxiety, especially around new stimuli. Have a fenced yard: He thrives in a large, secure yard where he can run freely without the need for a leash. Adults or families with older children: Best suited for homes without small children, but he could do well with older, respectful kids. Homebodies or work-from-home: He loves spending time with his family and will be happiest in a home where someone is around often. Experienced dog owners: Ideally, someone who understands how to work with a dog that has leash anxiety and can provide a calm, structured environment. ##2177020##

Story
Hey there! My name is Ranger. I am a 3 year old male GSP, a world champion snuggler, super handsome and give the best kisses! I am lonely for my humans and want to stretch my paws during the day. And then when my peeps come home, I have to walk on a leash. I need to RUN!! I am looking for a new home where I will have the space I need and the love and attention I deserve. I promise I'll keep you laughing with my goofball antics. I love to cuddle with blankies at night, so mom sends me to bed with one. I am a huge lizard and squirrel hunter and get so excited when they want to play chase! I know the commands sit, shake, speak and spin. I get along with all dogs, but no cats please! Not sure why, but they don't appreciate it when I chase them. I have a lot of energy and love to run and play outside but I do take my nap time very seriously! I am a little baby when it comes to getting my nails trimmed. I'm not a fan of storms or loud noises either. I am looking for an active family with a large, secure fenced yard. No cats or small animals (I have a strong GSP prey drive!). A home with or without kids is fine, as long as I am considered an important member of the household and get lots of exercise, attention and snuggle time with you and am not left for hours on my own. The ideal home would have another young, active dog in it for me to play with. Please take me with you when you go to the lake, beach and/or mountains. I love a good road trip! I am microchipped, up to date on vaccines, neutered (recently), and heartworm negative. I am fostered in Punta Gorda and my adoption fee is $400. To meet me, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process, or if you already have an application on file, please send an email to Info@Love4PawsFL.org to express interest in me and we can go from there!
