Story
Calling German Shorthair Pointer enthusiasts!! For those who are in love with these breed, this bonded pair of sweethearts is guaranteed to capture your heart! These two ended up in rescue from a home where they’d been purchased from a breeder. Their parents were elderly and got him first, then got her. They bred her, and then decided that they weren’t able to give them the care they needed as they were seniors, and they abandoned them. The luckiest day was when an incredible foster home heard of him, and then the next day heard of her, and insisted there was no way these two sweet babies could be separated, and that they would give them great care until they find the home of their dreams! S’mores is a wonderfully sweet boy who is 2 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. Charlotte is 14 months old and she also weighs about 55 lbs. As soon as they came into rescue they began having their medical work done. They are now current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, they are current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, and they are spayed and neutered! These two are doing wonderfully well and they are eager to begin the next chapter of their lives, where they find their forever home! S’mores and Charlotte adjusted so well to their foster home! They have been great going potty outside from day one! They have met lots of other pups and have been fabulous with everyone they meet! They load up well in the car and truly enjoy a relaxing car ride with their foster parents! They love to play outside in the yard, and soak up the sun on warm fall days. They love to take walks, and love to go on adventures anywhere you’d like to take them! They are purebred and are both stunningly gorgeous. They compliment each other so beautifully not only with their fabulous personalities and tender, sweet souls, but also with their dashing beauty! They’ve been good with every single human they’ve met, man, woman or child. They always have a wagging nub and are so enthusiastic to be a part of a positive household where they can give and receive tons of love! snuggley, super devoted parents are a must! These two steal hearts wherever they go, and they just need their dream of finding a super loving home together to come true. The sky is the limit with these beautiful, sweet pups! Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Name: LuckyBreed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever MixAge: 2 years oldKids: Over 12Dogs: YesCats: NoOur lovely Lucky has been hanging out in foster care while searching for her forever home! Though she is loving life in her foster home, Lucky thinks it's about time she finds her family!Lucky is 2 years old and is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. This pretty girl loves attention and is super affectionate! Lucky has a ton of energy so would benefit from someone who has an active lifestyle that can take her running or hiking and preferably a home with a fenced-in yard where she can get all her zoomies out! Lucky loves chasing the tennis ball and zipping around her fosters yard! Don't get her wrong, Lucky likes her quiet time at home hanging out with her foster dad and just relaxing. Lucky girl loves everyone she meets, is very trusting of people and bonds quickly! This girl will be glued to your side in a minute and be your bestie!Lucky likes other dogs, though sometimes doesn't know how big she is, so would prefer a canine companion comparable in size or one who can handle her energetic play style. We are saying children over 12 for Lucky because she can get a bit excited at times and jumpy when greeting people, but she's working hard on her manners.Lucky is housebroken, crate-trained, spayed, micro-chipped, and UTD on her vaccinations. If you are interested in Lucky, please fill out an adoption application today! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27
