Meet Kassie: Your New Best Friend! Kassie is a playful, curious, and sweet-tempered German Shorthaired Pointer who’s ready to bring energy and love to her forever home! She’s a young pup with a zest for life, always eager for a game of keep-away with her canine friends or a good chin scratch from her humans. Kassie is great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful companion or an active human who works from home. She’s gentle and patient, making her a good fit for families with younger children, especially with a little training. This smart pup is learning quickly! Kassie already knows cues like “sit,” “off,” “out,” and “potty,” and she’s even practicing playing catch. Her leash manners are surprisingly good for her age—she’s a natural walker without any pulling. Kassie loves toys, especially rope ones she can tug and unravel, and she’ll keep you entertained with her antics. Kassie is making great strides with housetraining and growing her confidence around loud or unfamiliar noises. She'll blossom in a stable environment with patient, understanding adopters who can support her sensitive nature and who enjoy a Velcro dog. Kassie is content in her crate overnight and is steadily adjusting to being crated during the day. She enjoys being around her people and would love a home where she has plenty of company. Kassie settled beautifully into her foster home, balancing her energetic outdoor play with a gentle and well-mannered demeanor indoors. She loves running, wrestling, and exploring, while also respecting house rules. With each passing day, Kassie grows more confident and adventurous, showing curiosity about cats and a fascination with horses—especially on TV! Kassie’s ideal home is one that matches her active, fun-loving personality. Whether it’s long walks, games of fetch, or exploring the great outdoors, she’ll thrive with someone who enjoys keeping busy.
