Story
Grace is a 1.5 year old GSP/Coonhound mix currently being fostered privately. She is living in a home with two other dogs, and has done well with them most of the time. She has lived with children previously. It is unknown how she does with cats. She was surrendered due to high energy levels and poor behavior. She has had minimal training and socialization, though does appear to be easily trainable. She is highly food motivated. This happy girl loves with her whole heart. She would follow her person to the ends of the world and protect them the whole way there. New situations can be scary and stressful, but she has adapted well, though she can be skiddish at times. Grace would thrive in an active household with people who will take the time to train her and love her thoroughly.

Story
Meet Frijol – Your New Best Buddy! Hi there, I’m Frijol! Whether you’re looking for a hiking partner, a loyal shadow, or a TV snuggle buddy, I’m your guy. I’m an 8-year-old English Pointer who’s ready to fill your life with love and companionship. I’m a social butterfly who gets along with just about everyone—men, women, kids, dogs, and even cats! I’ve been hanging out at the dog park with my foster brother, where I love meeting new friends while keeping a close eye on my foster mom. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a little stiff and out of shape, but with regular exercise, some dental work, and a healthier diet, I’ve dropped a few pounds and rediscovered my bounce! Now I’m prancing around like a pup half my age, ready to explore the world with my forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, I’m ready to be your best-ever buddy. Let’s make some memories together! 🐾 *****Please email adopt@valleydogs.org for an adoption application.

Story
Meet Dale! He was hit by a car over a year + ago.  The vet said the outcome would’ve been better for him if he was treated asap once he was hit. Dale injured his spine when he was hit by a car in Costa Rica.  He was living on the farm in Costa Rica with lots of other dogs.  A few months before coming to the US he lived at home with a vet in order to get laser therapy more frequent, which were continuing here along with acupuncture.  Long term we hope he improves with continued physical therapy but it’s not a guaranteed due to how long ago his injury to was. He gets around great in a wheelchair, that’s how he got the name Dale (Earnhardt). Out of the wheelchair he gets around pretty well.  He wears a belly band in the house to prevent accidents and he will use the doggie door.  Personality wise he LOVES attention from anyone who will give it to him.  He’s a huge snuggler and will follow everyone around the house, just to stay close to them.  He does great with kids and is being fostered with 12 other dogs.  He deserves a chance at a real place to call home after having such a rough start. He is 1 of 8 dogs saved from Costa Rica and we hope we can give him a second chance at a great life. He will need a home that can continue with acupuncture and laser therapy. Please fill out an application on our website so a meet/greet and home check can be arranged. His adoption fee is $250.November 4, 2024, 4:07 am
