Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Brownie, she was found on the interstate and sadly never reclaimed. She is a good girl who loves to go outside and play fetch. She also loves to just cuddle. She is a medium size dog who thinks she is a lap dog. She is a very active girl who is looking for a family that can give her lots of attention. She is great with children and she gets along with both dogs and cats. She is doing great in the house. Sweet girl has a split on one of her ears from her life before us. She has been through quite a journey since she was found. I have heard from different veterinarians that she could be a lab mix or a GSP mix. She has been spayed and is ready for her perfect forever family. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
Ronnie, a handsome 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, is ready to bring joy, adventure, and love to your life! This 53-pound bundle of good-natured energy was picked up as a stray in Vancleave, and while no one reclaimed him, he’s holding out hope that his forever family will find him soon. German Shorthaired Pointers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and affectionate nature, and Ronnie is no exception. He’s the perfect balance of playful and loyal, making him an excellent companion for hikes, fetch sessions, or just cozying up at the end of the day. Plus, one of Ronnie’s absolute favorite things in the world is toys—he dreams of a basket overflowing with them in his new home! Ronnie gets along great with other dogs, so feel free to bring your pup to the shelter for a meet-and-greet. With his sweet temperament and eager-to-please personality, Ronnie is the kind of dog who will make every day brighter. Don’t let him wait another day in the overcrowded shelter—come meet Ronnie today and give this amazing boy the forever home he deserves! By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.
