Story
Beans is a five year old GSP from a hunting dog family. We never hunted her but she is trainable and likes to be worked, whether is walking or other mentally stimulating activities. She is trained for indoors, knows sit, stay, leave it and drop it. She has very good home manners, knows what is hers and what is not and is very good with other animals, including cats. Also good with kids. She loves to play fetch, loves puzzle games and tug. She has energy for days and that’s both a good thing and a challenge. We were not familiar with the GSP breed, we thought they were like labs but GSPs are far more energetic and need stimulation beyond what we are able to provide, between the hours we work. She needs a family or person who can match her energy or give her a job. She doesn’t have any major special needs, but she takes Apoquel for environmental allergies. She up to date on all her vaccines.
