Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
My best friend Petra and I came to the shelter together because our human couldn't take care of us anymore. We are very close and want to do everything together which is why we MUST be adopted together, but that doesn't mean we don't have time for people...we love people and will do whatever we can to please them. I can be a bit of a barker when people don't pay attention to me, but as long as you're close by I'm a very good boy. I love toys and running around in the yard for exercise, I am quick to pickup on commands and requests from the humans I've met here at the shelter. I am 2 years old and 69 pounds, Petra is 3 years old and 61 pounds.   If you are interested in adopting this adorable pair of canines, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 815-858-2265 or email us atsafehaven1471@gmail.com. Randy and Petra's adoption donation is $350 which includes both of their vaccinations, spay/neuter, Heartworm test, Lyme test, Bordetella, flea & tick preventative, heartworm prevention, deworming, and microchip. Please visit our website www.safehavenforpets.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Hi! My buddy, Randy and I come as a pair, we're bonded and will need to be adopted to the same home! Our previous owner had to give us up for health reasons, but the shelter is trying to keep us together. We really need each other and don't react well to being separated, but we're really sweet and love attention. Don't be intimidated by us, we are big but don't want to hurt anyone, just hang our with each other and as many people as we can. I like to chase Randy around outside and steal his toys, he know its because I love him and want to do everything he does. I enjoy being the boss with him, but am very good at learning new commands and will listen to and obey when people tell me to do things here at the shelter. Some info about the two of us: I am 61 pounds and 3 years old, while Randy is 69 pounds and 2 years old.   If you are interested in adopting this adorable pair of canines, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. Story
I can be nervous meeting new people, but once I get to know you I'll be your best friend. I love playing outside and will run circles around you while playing fetch. I can be a picky eater, preferring to graze instead of eating all my food at once and keep a very neat kennel. I will tell you when I have to potty and know how to sit, shake hands, and lay down. I tolerate most of the dogs I've seen here at the shelter, I would probably do well with another dog in my new home. I also enjoy walks and car rides and am a people pleaser, if you think I sound like your kind of girl put in an application today.   If you are interested in adopting this adorable 2 year old canine weighing 58 pounds, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org.
