Story
Hi! My name is Oso! I was brought here to the shelter all the way from California to make room for all the animals that were displaced after the wildfires over there. While for unfortunate circumstances, I think that Wisconsin is where I was meant to be! My fluffy self was made for this kind of weather! I can handle the cold, but in the summer, you can find me splashing around in the kiddie pool because I LOVE water! I am so looking forward to Midwest summers! I am playful, energetic, friendly, and fun! What else could you ask for in a dog? While I am not opposed to sharing my home with another dog, I am pretty indifferent with them, so if you are looking for a dog to be a playmate for your other dog, I may not be the right choice for you. I prefer my human companions much more, and I will play with you all day if you let me! Some kiddos to play with would be fun too! Maybe that could be in my future! I would love to have a family of my own again! I think this is just where I will finally find it! Ask to meet me at the shelter to see if we are a match! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 65.8 Age: 5yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
I am Harley. I came from North Carolina after Hurricane Helene, as I was in a shelter that lost utilities after the storm. I had puppies a few weeks before the storm and was found with them in a crate before I went to the shelter down there. Another shelter took my pups, but left me behind, so I am now a Wisconsin girl. I love to snuggle with my foster and play with my current foster siblings. I sit very well, and gently take my treats when I am rewarded. I am crate trained and do very well in my crate and I am potty trained, and will let you know when I need to go out. I am a sweet southern belle, and am told I am going to make a great companion.

Story
🌟 Meet Earl 🌟 🌟 Name: Earl 🎂 Age: 6 months 🐶 Breed: German Shepherd Mix 💉 Vaccination Status: Earl is nearly up to date with his last vaccination scheduled in mid January along with his neuter surgery. 🏡 Ideal Home: Earl is seeking an experienced dog family. He would do best with a fenced in yard as he claims it’s his job to keep rabbits at bay 🐇 🐕 Compatibility: Earl gets along well with dogs, and children. Cats are unknown. ✨Special Needs: None! ✂️ Grooming: Brushing his shepherd coat often. 🐾 Training: Manners are coming along! He has mastered potty training. 👂🏽Hear what his foster has to say: “[Earl] is a cool customer, goes with the flow. Can’t have any padded stuff in the kennel otherwise it gets shredded. Blankets are good. Loves to play with and chase toys. Really good with [4 year old child]. I have been sick the last few days and [wife] says he gets really concerned and sits by the door when I take a nap, when she lets him in he very quietly gets on the bed checks if I’m breathing and snuggles in next to me. Loves to go pick [child] up from school and likes to sit in her car seat when she’s not along. His manners are coming along and potty training is pretty much mastered. He gives resident dogs a fair warning when they get close to his bowl and they leave him be, not food aggression just ‘hey, my bubble.’ We can take his bowl away anytime and he has no issue. Sleeps through the night until the resident shepherd stirs him up in the morning. He does have that shepherd stubbornness at times. I think he would be good with families that have a little experience with dogs and I don’t see him getting any bigger than he is. He would do best in a fenced in yard cuz he like to keep rabbits at bay. If he has the beagle I think he does, he would go on a “hound around” if unattended.” Apply here: https://linktr.ee/uudogrescue DS# 403072

Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: BROCK Brock is a sweet boy who found himself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of his own. He was found as a stray in rural Georgia and then was brought in by animal control. He and his sister Loretta are both super sweet, smart, and loving dogs. You can tell they previously had a home, and someone taught them basic commands. Brock was previously found as a stray in Georgia and was taken to the local shelter. He just recently made the trip up to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 1/10/25 and is living in a foster home in Green Bay. He is learning all about the house life and is working on all of the puppy stuff like potty training, crate training, walking on a leash, and commands. He is super friendly to everyone and gets along great with his foster dog siblings. He loves his humans and is very affectionate and lives for attention. He is a super sweet boy. —--------------------------- Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. We are a foster-based rescue in South Eastern Wisconsin. Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: CAPTAIN CAPTAIN is a 5-month-old altered Male, 28 lbs. He is great with everybody and is a sweet and outgoing pup. Good with other dogs (adult and small puppies) and kids. He has not been cat tested yet, but would probably be fine. He is being fostered on a 100 acre farm with chickens and lots going on all the time and is doing amazing! Lots of desensitizing. He loves to run and is doing well off leash around the property. He hangs around whatever you are doing and wants to be by you. A good errand dog. He is medium energy and loves to play, but also is happy taking a nap on the couch. He is also a beautiful boy! For the shepherd lovers, he is gorgeous! ------------------------------- CAPTAIN was in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and caught a ride up to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on 1/10/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue.
