Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Lone Ranger came to us as an owner surrender due to his medical needs. We first believed he has swimmers syndrome, but are currently working through a myriad of potential contributing factors that might be affecting his mobility. At this time, Lone Ranger is available as a foster to adopt while we work though his medical issues. He is a typical happy, playful GSD puppy who would greatly benefit from a home where he can build his muscle tone and help learn how to navigate the word with his mobility constraints. Lone Ranger likes to play with other dogs, but can get frustrated at times so he would do best with a dog capable of healthy corrections or very patient with a big, goofy, awkward puppy. We would love nothing more than to get this sweet boy into a home where he can become a beloved family member. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/available-dogs

Story
Meet the winter litter: Eis, Schnee, Kalt, Nebel, & Frost (see all photos below)! They are pure bred German Shepherd puppies born 10/2/2024, around 20 pounds and will be coming to Wisconsin soon. We are taking applications now:  However, we will be doing this litter a little differently than others. We are accepting general applications for the litter. When you apply, we will determine if your application is a good fit for a german shepherd. If so, you will then go through the approval process, where we will ask more information about preferences and work to match you with the puppy that fits your family/situation best. We also strongly believe that large dogs should be altered when the timing is right for their growth - so we are allowing for that with these puppies; however, because they are purebred and we will NOT be adopting out for breeding purposes, part of the adoption fee is a refundable spay/neuter deposit. $425 adoption fee $500 alteration deposit. Once you prove that you have completed the alteration, we will reimburse the $500 deposit and issue a $100 operation refund as well.  ##2255253##

Story
***** Armin is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and his adoption fee has been reduced to $325. *****Why hello there! My name is Armin, and I`m looking for my very own human(s). I`m hoping they are active and adventurous and on the go - just like me! Could that be you? Why don`t you come on down to visit me? I`ve been friendly and wiggly when meeting most people, but sometime I get nervous when meeting someone new. I am quite food motivated so giving me treats usually helps me befriend people easier! I do love to run and play and I would definitely love to do positive reinforcement training with my new family to help me learn good manners. I can get jumpy and over-aroused when something excites me - like grabbing toys and treats - so I need to go to a home without small kids. But I`m super smart and I`ve already learned a bunch of stuff and would love to learn some more - especially if there are treats involved! I would greatly benefit from adopters who are able to wear me out physically and mentally and are willing to work with my energy levels. If I sound like I could be a good fit for you, then come visit my friends in the adoption center! I can`t wait to meet you! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy young adult dog at this time, but it`s always a good idea to get me into a vet soon after adoption so I can meet my new doctor! Weight: 27.6 lbsAdoption Fee: $325 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!
