Story
Looking to re-home the sweetest 9-month-old German Shepherd mix puppy. He weighs around 20 lbs and may only gain a couple more pounds. He is neutered and has his rabies vaccine. We are working on crate training and manners, and have been very successful with potty training. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Like most puppies, he has some normal issues such as not liking to be alone and nipping/mouthing when overexcited or overstimulated. He will come with all his belongings, including food, a crate, bowls, toys, treats, a harness, a lead, a toothbrush, and more. A rehoming fee will apply. We simply want him to have the best life possible in a forever home. We are open to having people meet him before rehoming. --- Hope this helps

Story
Pickles is a wonderfully, loving dog. He is 10 years old. I got him from the Humane Society after my dog Sarah of 16 years passed. Pickles was 1 years old when we got him and he quickly became the protector of the family that consisted of my 10 and 16 year old children and 2 cats. He has a strong build and is very muscular, a loud bark when sensing intruders, and does very well when walking by lease, very careful of me as I have had 2 hip replacements. From the onset Pickles has had allergies. When I brought his scratching to the humane society they said it was due to his vaccinations. His vet found it was seasonal allergies and he was put on Apoquel. Pickles was recently diagnosed with dry eye as well as a torn tendon. My husband is no longer employed and we cannot afford the surgery ($3,000). We do not want him in pain and have been managing it with meloxicam. Soon he will need bloodwork. Pickles has so many years of life in him and would be a loving addition to any family.
